Yes you did but that’s your opinion contrary to what they would argue. What irritates me is when people who don’t know about antiques will look at that and think oh because it’s the Fashion mumblrs they must get it despite that is completely ruined and in serious need of restoration that will cost a lot of money to put it right. There will be a huge recession heading our way and I predict it to be worse than the previous one. That money that innocent person has parted with could have been used in a proactive way to benefit them than those two chancers. Three if you include Charles. Disgusting to ask that much money for that. I’ve never looked on her eBay before until others spoke of it. Hope you’re having a good day though Nellie and others ❤
I agree with you 💯%

I'm assuming the screen is Chibby's from her previous home because I don't recall seeing it at J&C's Clapham house. I guess she's free to price it as she likes and at least she's showing the defects so prospective buyers can decide for themselves.... good luck getting nearly £700 for it though 🥴

I'm more concerned with the cream, which was a free PR gift that she didn't want. She'd try it before and it didn't suit her skin so I can't fathom out why she opened it 🤷‍♀️, cosmetics degrade from the moment they're opened and it's unhygienic to say the least 🤢.

I'm having a great day thanks for asking, I'm doing admin at home and currently on day 4 of a 14 day isolation period due to a covid case at work.

I'm well though... hope you are too x

That photo is , for want of a better word - EPIC !!!🤣🤣🤣🤣 The funniest photo I've seen on any of our Greedy Beige Lady of the Cotswolds threads... and the competition is tough !! Thank you for making me laugh !!!
Btw.. off topic , I had no idea Emma Hill had a thread on Tattle. Forgot who mentioned it a few pages back. I unfollowed her because of the ( imo ) rude way she addressed her followers when a while after the covid started she stopped vlogging. She said something along the line of not being a " dancing monkey ". Rude ...
Her style can give you an idea here and there but yes, it's just blazers and jeans.

I work from home now which to be perfectly honest I much prefer. Husband’s antique shop is back open .... for now. Family are well I can’t complain. Sweet of you to ask as well.
On the subject in question yes you’re right she can charge as much as she likes but it’s still daylight robbery (had my tea and calmed down) in my opinion for what it is worth absolute zero to her but it just comes across as this sense of entitlement to rip people off. People as you know in your sector and others are losing jobs and it’s going to get so much harder financially what with Brexit etc as well as the aftershock of Covid it’s just beyond the pale to me that Josephine has the front to moan on camera her expensive mistake, flog PR gifts to profit from the companies generosity and Chibby flogging that schlock of a screen at that price. It’s just beyond wrong. I’m glad there are people that agree and hopefully companies will wise up

I noticed one of the moisturisers on ebay has finger marks, like she tested it. If I remember correctly she's asking £32 +PP and the moisturiser costs £42. I think it's a Charlotte Tilbury item.

She really doesn't know her fairisle from her cable knit does she?
In a very recent video, she mentioned that someone had corrected her and what she was calling fairisle was in fact cable. For someone who has studied fashion and textiles, it's an unforgiveable error - and then she goes and does it again tonight!! Obviously has the attention span (and intelligence) of a goldfish. (apologies to goldfish everywhere). So far her best ignorant comment was thinking that blood, fish and bone was compost - until Charlie corrected her. Does he secretly despair as we do??

What a flogfest that was today! Lost count of the products. Unboxings - ha, three new hats/props for the houseboy to 'model'. I wish someone (a brand mebbe) would point out her ignorance re the difference between fairisle and cable where sweaters are concerned. Yet another revolting 'gilet'......I swear she almost had an orgasm unboxing this one .....

....and she actually said she wasn't going to undo the pocket stitching, (because it would spoil the line of the 'gilet' to use the pocket....yeah right....so that's another item for chibbywotnot's EBay account eventually)

What planet does Chibbynicoll live on to expect somebody to part with £695 on a damaged screen that’s ripped and stored in a grotty dirty car port?! Excuse my “French” but that is bleeping daylight robbery. To even ask or condone that much for that schlock is telling of why Josephine thinks it’s acceptable to waste £1500 on a tree. Obvious where her ideas come from. To then ask for sensible offers in the description is taking the piss. It’s worth £150 at a push £300 quoted by an antique specialist (my husband. He burst out laughing when I asked him to value it looking at those photos) he also said if it was restored properly and with care and sympathetic to the era of it she could get that much for it but in that state. I need a cup of tea as my mum would say Jó Isten! (Good God)
Well, a confession. Every week or so I think to myself "oh, I'm judging this blogger person too harshly. She just likes nice things and cute clothes, so whatever."

But then I see more evidence of their secondhand ebay/depop price-gouging-aka-grifting, and I realize my worst assessment of their characters is still TOTALLY ACCURATE.

I work from home now which to be perfectly honest I much prefer. Husband’s antique shop is back open .... for now. Family are well I can’t complain. Sweet of you to ask as well.

Yes - "Sense of entitlement to rip people off" is exactly why I cannot bear them.

I said "studied". That is quite correct. Yes I too have access to LinkedIn.
I wasn't sure, since it sounded so professional, and in context with her it sounded wrong. :ROFLMAO:
We use in my mother language two different words for school and Uni students and studying. Student and studying is for Uni. I know in English it is used for both. Isn't the word "pupil" used that much anymore?

She really thinks she’s Scandinavian doesn’t she?!! The fake platinum blonde hair, the Dale of Norway inspired jumper, the knee boots, the furs, ABBA-esque. Why try and be somebody you’re not and never will be?! I can’t relate as she would say.
The problem is she can't get it right.
I love Scandi-fashion but it's like her country chic it only passes the barest of resemblances to the essence of it.
I think her problem is she doesn't have a sense of identity, she doesn't know who she is.
Is she a city girl, is she a country girl, is she a fashion guru, a homemaker, an interior designer or is she a fecking gardener??
No one knows, not even Josie but as long as she is getting paid and plenty of freebies for Ebay she doesn't appear to care.
She has no integrity thats for sure.

There was a screen being stored at the Chiswick flat. Apparently an antique one.
Then another screen appeared around about the time the french bed appeared. It was from Etsy, just like the bed and apparently French.
That bed went to the upholsterer just like the chairs that Josie was going to cover but chickened out off. Those chairs appeared un-upholstered on Ebay but the bed and screen vanished.
So, she lied about sending the chairs to be recovered, goodness knows where the french bed and screen went.
The first screen in the Chiswick flat hasn't seen the light of day since.
