Is it definitely rented? I'm surprised she's just blowing more dead money on rent. You would have thought she would have had enough to buy somewhere by now with the earnings she's been on.
The whole “blowing dead money on rent” doesn’t really stick here in London. My friends from my hometown don’t get it either so I understand the attitude.

But the vast majority of under 35s here rent. Deposits here are the highest in the country. Plus the quality and location you can get with buying varies massively to renting. I even had a friend that managed to buy a house in Ealing through auction but ended up selling it and renting in central again because location is so important for career and social life.

The way she was talking about it was giving the impression she’d be buying… the place is nice tho
Standard Eve. Always one to exaggerate. When she actually does buy (which will take awhile now on that CreativIQ salary) she will be insufferable

London has become a total disgrace re. housing. A tiny monopoly of ultra rich people taking endless sky high rents from others.

i actually really enjoyed this last video, it reminded me of the good old days of her channel when she was doing stuff and taking her camera around, not just standing in front of it, snatching shit from thin air and doing over the top gestures.

Two years on a trainee salary does not a house deposit and stamp duty make.

Isn't Clapham quite a wealthy area? I'm up North I don't know
Parts are, but not really Clapham North. It's the standard place grads live in their first London houseshare. Room prices across London are all basically the same now anyway (usually 800 plus, 700 if you're lucky...) unless it's somewhere far out or East.

It’s full of students and young professionals. It’s the area lots of people flat share in as it is affordable.

Clapham North in particular isn’t very nice. Although I’m almost certain she actually lived in Stockwell and was being too snobby to say (it’s an even uglier area close by), my friends old flat looked identical to the street she filmed.

Not sure if this has been posted before, but I physically recoiled reading her LinkedIn banner . Why is she acting like this "TeCh LeGaL ExPeRt", babe you couldn't even print "Hello, World!" in python .

She must miss the views for legal content as she’s just put out a “lawyer ranks court scenes” video.

In the UK it’s wrong to hold yourself out to be a lawyer when you’re not practicing … but er go off Eve. Guess she’s bored of pretending she’s in tech.
