Okay, let's agree to disagree haha. I live in London too and a few of my friends have recently bought with c. £30k in places like Streatham, Leyton etc. As I said, it depends where in London you want to buy but it's defo possible to buy a property here without having a £100k deposit.

Not trying to criticise you and it may sound harsh but you were aware what your work place's expectations are after all. I also don't feel comfortable being dressed up in general - I'd rather be working in a sweatshirt and leggings - but I am expected to look neutral and professional. Depends what kind of job you do but at jobs in which you represent your company - f.ex. do client meetings etc. - you represent not yourself but your company. No one is gonna care about your sexuality there and no one should be expected to. The fact that I love idk Metallica or that I'm a Buddhist doesn't mean I should include it everywhere to make sure other people see it.

Generally the thing is some people try to make everything about themselves - and with Eve it fucking shows.

Dressing "queer" doesn't have to be a huge bold statement though. I'm also going down the law route and I know that I'll have to wear "business" clothes, but the way I hold and present myself has a lot to do with how confident I am.

I think Eve goes a bit over the top sometimes, and she can be a very extreme person (no hate, it's just who she is), but not everyone who wants to incorporate their sexuality wants to do it in an extreme way. A subtle pin, or an undercut, or shoes can be the way someone does it. Even just a woman wearing a suit can be a way of comfort for some people. It's not like wearing a costume everyday, it's just about adhering to the "uniform" of the job whilst still being comfortable

I always thought the clear coffee cups were the kind of plastic that get really scratched up quickly and then look bad. The hoodies looked good, but again are only really those gildan type hoodies that anyone can add a logo to. I wonder what happened to the coffee.

I have to bring that up again, are you sure this is about Eve? I feel kinda bad for her, a lot of Law Students around the world look up to her and are inspired and motivated by her, although her content isn't perfect (no ones is), I don't think it's fair to say that she shouldn't have been hired?

Anyone watch Eve Cornwell? I quite liked what she was doing. It was interesting following her journey to becoming a lawyer and I thought she made some decent vlogs. Until today. So she starts off by proudly stating that she's never sold out by trying to flog merch. True, it's one of the reasons I liked her. 10 minutes later in the same vlog she's flogging hoodies. Only they're not merch, oh no, they represent membership of a club of like-minded people. OK, Eve, we absolutely believe you

I don't consider it the same thing at all? I went to grammar school and whilst all of us there had to pass the 11+ to get in, it was by no means a school full of the children of rich, influential people. Of course some people there came from private schools or had private tutors, but the majority of us were just regular kids who had good input and encouragement at primary school, at home, or both. Sure there's a degree of privilege and I for one don't think grammar or private schools should even exist (education shouldn't have levels of access at all in my opinion), but they're not the same thing at all.
