I’m watching. To me, it has lost its magic. The cinematography, the score - everything I loved about Season 1&2. It was always going to be hard to make it work outside of high school I think. It’s not awful… but the last episode had a lot of weird shit with Sydney Sweeney though, and it lost me

This is my new favourite show. I just binge watched every episode in less than a week.

Absolutely in love with both Maddy and Lexi. I also agree with the love for Fez, he kinda reminds me of Mac Miller. The whole cast is gorgeous!

I kept hoping Faye’s conscience would get the better of her and she would give them the heads up. Are the police going to be outside or what!? Why hasn’t he turned up at Lexi’s show!

Cassie’s crazy face at the very end when Nate dumps her, what’s going to happen to Rue over the money, is the storyline over the rich woman Maddie babysits for going anywhere etc.

So many loose ends to tie up in the finale….

Can someone fill me in on what’s happened so far with the Fez storyline? I’m completely lost! Who is Faye/the other guy? Why do people think they are working with police - is that guesses or confirmed?

Faye is the junkie living with Fez & Ashtray. Her boyfriend is Custer (the guy who she met out in the alley last episode/who turned up at the house in this episode) he told her that he was working as an informant for the police. Custer was working for Mouse - the dealer that Fez worked under - who Ashtray killed a few episodes back. Custer asked Fez to hide Faye after the manager at the motel was thrown off the balcony.

So my daughter just showed me something on tiktok that there is a camera in the clock in the closet where Maddy is babysitting. There is a moment where the camera hovers over the time and you can see the camera.

Yes, there’s a camera inside the alarm clock,that’s who Amanda knew to give Maddy the sparkly dress - because she had seen her trying it on in the closet while she was babysitting.

all the noise with ‘what about Rue’s debt with Laurie?!’ is very ‘but why didn’t Carrie dial 911?!’ to me

Just saw the latest episode and really enjoyed to see Ethan playing Nate.

As i said in one of my older posts, to me Ethan is the opposite character of nate so it was a clever move to let him play nate.

I just binged both series. I loved it but by season two I was just fast forwarding through all Rue/Jules scenes. So dull.

I loved Rue in S1 but I thought she got more boring in S2 (apart from ep 5!). Maybe I’m a heartless cow but I just feel like there are never any consequences for her?

Also dying to know what happens with the camera in the dressing room…

i watched season 1 fairly recently so i'm very lucky in that i didn't have to wait for season 2 for very long i have to say zendaya surprised me pleasantly in general. from the comments on here, i'm glad to see lexi is getting more of a story line because i love her! i'm just about to watch the 1st episode of season 2 over lunch.

also, controversial maybe but i don't like jules i feel like she treated rue very unfairly

Loving this, the girls all being pals is a nice change from the usual all girls are enemies stupidity on other programs. The bit with Jules and Maddy in which Jules does not judge her choice for going back to Nate but registers her horror all the same was really well done. They can all do better than him. I am assuming they have access to hard drugs via Fez who they would have known since they were in primary school.
It’s also good that they have left the location unknown, it’s obviously a mixed bag, like most areas/schools not everyone lives in massive houses or has two income’s coming in.
The only thing that is really annoying me is that in real life Maddy and everyone else would have clocked that Nate and Cassie were shagging-it’s always really obvious, esp at that age!

My thoughts…. Started writing them down before it all got too chaotic:

Faye came good!

My heart just broke for Fezco. Loved the Fexi content.
The scene where Cassie was at the glass breathing and when she ran back in
The Howard family airing their dirty laundry on stage. Oh the messiness…. I loved every minute!

Maddie running on stage followed by Kat and Barbara with the latter hyping her up to “beat Cassie’s ass”

Elliott’s song.

The crowd cheering Lexi on. “Giddy up”.

Oh the tenseness of the scene at Fez’s house waiting for the police to break down the door. Coupled with the scene of Nate driving and loading the gun.

Nate finally doing the right thing and his Dad getting what he deserved. What will Nate do now that he longer has his Dad ruling his life.

Maddie’s comment about how it’s only just the start.

Rue seeming really done with Jules for good.

Ashtray I’m hoping this means that Fez still lives and won’t be in jail but that was still so heartbreaking.

Bravo Euphoria, Sam Levinson and a magnificent cast and crew…. Honestly one of the best tv I’ve seen in years

Just watched the final episode….

Disappointed!!!!!

they really didn’t need the school play to run into this episode. I really didn’t like it. It took away from what should have been a really action packed finale.

wanted to see far more between Rue & Jules, that was a cop out.
wanted to see more of the fight between Cassie & Maddie and the aftermath of it.
Nate shopping Cal to the police should have been explained more, it came out of left field.
what on earth was that stupid scene with Elliot singing to Rue?!!! Just when I thought he was finished, along came another verse and another chorus! Just shut up!!!!!
the Fez/Ashtray storyline was beyond predictable. It wasn’t shocking or emotionally charged - it was boring and too drawn out.

I’m not sure where they go from here with another season? But that was a piss poor season across the board as far as I’m concerned. Far too much arty airy fairy filler/dream sequences. How many times have we seen the same scenes from Rue’s fathers wake? It’s just taking up time that should be spent on new parts of the story.

Agree with all of this, especially the bit about Rue’s dead dad. We get it already. I think the school play was meant to show how they clever the writer is and it worked out ok in the first of the episodes but I was bored by the second. Also if I’d been watching that play irl, I’d have walked out. It’s quite niche, innit.

I keep thinking about it too. The fact that she hasn't told anyone (most importantly her family) when the consequences of her actions put everyone in danger. What if that woman goes after her little sister or her mom in retaliation?

maybe it’s been settled using funds siphoned off from the theatre budget
