It's 'A Year of Magical Thinking' - it's one of my most favourite books - everyone don't let Estee put you off a beautiful book.Aww you're so sweet to ask, sadly I'm going back to work on Monday so wondering how my reading will suffer further haha, but I did just set my goal to 50 for the year on Goodreads and started reading Mexican Gothic yesterday, and really loving it. Makes me happy to hear that you love books as well
Good god that Didion book, I have it and I can't bring myself to read it, it reminds me too much of Estee since she's been reading it for the past 3 years now it seems.. Estee picks up cool reads that are popular but I don't see her reading for the joy of reading, I'm sorry but I just can't fathom it.

Seeing as she tagged Rosianna here, I remembered that for a while she seemed pretty friendly with that whole group: Rosianna, Sanne from booksandquills, Emily Diana Ruth etc. which really surprised me back then because they are all so different from her usual paid BFFs. And they all became friends with Frannie too and stayed friends with her even after the fallout between her and Estee. Not sure how things are now though tbh. Anyway, just something I remembered upon seeing this pic :-D
I’m always surprised when she still seems to be somewhat friendly with Rosianna, because that whole crowd seems so genuine and principled, and Estée just...isn’t! You’d think they’d have sussed her out by now.
Right? Years ago she would even party with that whole crowd, including Jack Howard and Hazel Hayes and all those people (most of whom are their own brand of annoying tbh). Estee was dating Aslan back then and I had the impression she thought that group was super cool with their books and film-making plans and John Green-obsession/connection :-D Wouldnt happen to her now I guess, so I was surprised she even mentioned Rosianna.

I'm normally a fan of people separating home from work, but in her case I don't really see the point in getting an office...
Does she really have enough 'work' to need an office space that's not inside her house? I can imagine her job being very here and there, not really enough or constant enough to require of a strict time table or the space. I would find annoying having to go to the office to work for a couple hours and then return home, to then realize something new has come up and having to go back. + I'm sure a big part of her job involves answering emails and being in conversations (brand deals etc) which she will eventually end up doing it from her sofa.
+ is she going to film an edit there? Knowing how relaxed her videos have become and how lifestyley they are I can't imagine her doing it anywhere else.
I think it would have been better if she'd utilized the office space at her home better and made it REALLY an office and not a junk/store room, and then get a gym/classes membership to force herself to leave the house instead of the other way round. I'm sure London is full of cool studios that provide interesting classes with timetables that would force her to go instead of a regular gym that is easy to ignore.
