since then few influencers have „progressed“ and many have stagnated in terms of creativity or their brand, but Estee has definitely regressed.
it isn’t just the weird ~esoteric~ stuff, I’d probably be fine with that, but she seems so obviously lost. Like a disparate moodboard copied together haphazardly. And of course, no person is totally „on brand“ all the time, but she fluctuates so widely and rapidly.
Same, I found them relaxing to watch.
Maybe she made them private? Not sure how that works to be honest. I can see that stuff being painful for her to see on her channel but to delete like 8 years of filming and memories seems crazy to me. LIke hide it but don't destroy it. You can google some of her old content, some other channels still play some of her videos on their platform, but it's hard to find sometimes.
For some reason, when viewers/followers mention her Essie Button/brunette days, it sets her off in a MAJOR way.
It does, she really wants to erase that version of her, basically her entire young adult life and first decade in London. The look, the name, the videos, her whole past demeanor, it's all gone forever. And the saddest thing is that she doesnt seem even the tiniest bit happier. Or more mature.
She actually looks a whole lot sadder, more artificial, more lost now that she's in her 30s than she did in her 20s.
I'm dreading how sad she's going to be when she hits 40.
She might DIE? God.. I recently lost a former coworker to complications from Covid, we worked together for 15 years and sorry to make this personal, but the stuff she posts is so insensitive.

I've just had it with these influencers. They're callous, cruel, and absolutely useless. Joking about dying because you won't PURCHASE some pouch? Ill advised at best, but in a pandemic? When so many have suffered losses? Wtf goes through her brain, besides dust bunnies?
What is she providing to the world? What does she bring to the table? No wonder she's depressed and has to spend tons of money/get tons of things gifted to feel something for three seconds and then go back to being a miserable witch.
