Prefer this series to Escape to the Chateu, at least the later series. They've left the annoying kids at home

Just watching a repeat of the Escape to the chateau. The amount of times she's holding onto his hand - is she paranoid he's going to do a runner or something ? and the amount of times I hear her say, " Mr Strawbridge you have the happiest wife" but this show really should be renamed to something like, what Angel wants,Angel gets.
How you get them is how you lose them so I imagine she’s very insecure……….

What channel? I cant imagine anyone wanting to work with them either after the stuff that came out when they left channel4

Haven't these two been fully replaced by Keith Brymer Jones and Marj Hogarth, and their Welsh chapel dream? They're a far more likeable couple.

Although i do have reservations, as of course both Angela and fool can be tricky, I always loved this series, and look forward to seeing the updates!
It has to be one of the relatively cheaper programmes to make, as Angela and fool would be doing most of it in any case!
