I was thinking that myself earlier - it definitely feels like there has been a bit of a shift in that group and I feel like that “spicy” post of Erin’s with the dig about aperols was a catalyst - speculation on my behalf obvs but I wouldn’t blame Jade for taking a big step back there, she’s had more than enough to deal with without adding Erin’s jealousy to the mix.

I’m not talking about the posting of the footage when I say I don’t find it weird, just saying that I think having the camera there makes sense to me with Luella’s condition. Some people have been saying that having the camera is weird.

The meltdown itself sounded very genuine to me. I have certainly cried like that before when dealing with hard things in motherhood and health. I certainly don’t feel it was a moment she put on, but could the decision to share it be calculated? For sure.I’d say with the falling out with her friends, maybe she has ready here (who knows), perhaps she feels the need to show a softer side.

Yeah and the epilem one too right? She’s said lately she hasn’t had a seizure in a long time because of whatever combo they were on and she was worried about having to stop using whatever it was ahead of surgery?

It would be worse if she went on this amazing holiday and whinged about miserable her life is or how much she couldn’t enjoy her holiday because she wasnt with her kids. It would make her more insufferable than she already is.
Parents can and should enjoy time away from kids if they have the means to and if they want to. They also have every right to spend that time focusing on themselves and/or relationship with their significant other without needing to publicly post about missing their kids.

I agree it’s privileged to be able to send a child to daycare without both parents working but I don’t think it’s completely unreasonable for a stay at home parent to have a day or two a week child free to get life admin done and some self care in. Erin’s position is obviously a bit different as they have Crystal.
I do wonder if it’s to do with the area that she lives in. I’m in the eastern suburbs and honestly I question my decision not to have sent my eldest to daycare all the time, partly because it is completely the norm here for them to go at least a couple of days a week even if they have a parent at home. I honestly have felt judgement about it from other parents in my area, like I’ve done the wrong thing by him in not giving him the socialisation of daycare etc. And he’s a total lockdown kid since we spent his first couple of years of life overseas and then had the Sydney lockdowns.

It really is insane. I can’t believe her Dad write such a ridiculous program. When she is struggling to run 5kms atm. You can’t increase distance that quickly and doing multiple long runs a week.
