She needs those reins and spurs taking off her until she learns how to bloody ride! I’m no where near perfect but would be mortified if I saw a video of me riding with those absolutely awful hands yanking the horses mouth every stride.

I really love Lauren Allport (she used to be eddiesgun91). She's not so much an 'influencer' in that she doesn't do ads and brand collabs etc but she has a YT channel. She has amazing horses, used to live in Dubai and do trick riding, lots of liberty etc. Now she's in France and is building a business as an equine chiropractor and producing and bringing on young horses.
EquiAlly is another one I like, her and Lauren are friends.

Not really sure I get this comment, I really like Jess. She’s relatable and I am excited to watch her progress with Jim after her maternity break. We aren’t all pros. When I watch her stories it feels like I’m chatting to a friend, she isn’t trying to be someone she’s not.

People also buy cobs as they are sturdy and are weight carriers. They often forget that said cobs can sometimes only carry 16/16.5 inch saddle, maybe a 17. As shown on RTG, her saddle is too small for her frame, putting additional weight over the cantle. All this will do is create back problems for your horse.

Muddymayhem does this constantly as well! Even driving her horse-box. Says it’s on her drive, her drive must be really long! I can’t stand the woman.

Olivia Towers is another one I think, but to be fair to her she does have a long drive.

There is something very odd about the sale of Pumpkin, apart from the retaining the ride until the end of the year. I don't think CDJ was given an offer she couldn't refuse. I think she was just aware that he wasn't going to be her next Valegro (although, let's face it, very big shoes to fill!) and better to bring other horses up through the stages that will do better at that level. To me, he just doesn't have the right pizazz, although he is a beautiful horse.

I think you are right, Pumpkin is a lovely little horse but Valegro Just edges it in talent.

I feel so sorry for Pepper. I’m not skinny or one to fat shame but she is far to heavy for that horse and she needs to just stop riding it until a suitable weight. I can believe she has sponsorships, I’d be ashamed to associate with her as riding is going to be detrimental to that horses health.

She had that one trainer for a little while way back who used to ride him and explain what he was doing and then get Charlotte to do it and he was fab but then she stopped going to him. She doesn’t seem to get on with trainers and I feel like I can guess why but I don’t want to be that kind of person.
if she really wants it to work between the two of them, she needs to start listening to people and putting the work in, or else she is going to have a sour and broken horse.

Exactly this - I worked for Tony for a long time and charity was absolutely at the forefront of a lot that he did. It really saddens me to read these types of thread. Sadly without cash, very few make it to the top.

I unfollowed Wimpy ages ago, I like the idea of her camps and would probably do me the world of good but think I would find her overbearing after a day I have had lessons with the SJ coach she uses and I think she is great, but the cost does put me off.

Her sense of humour grates on me. I will never forget going to Olympia and she was all over my other half, trying to entice him into the stall with her “muffs”. I just gave her a withering look while my other half didn’t know where to look! I would have completely taken the joke if she had addressed us as a couple, but the flirting was just embarrassing!

I LOVE the VE girls. I think they work really hard for what they get and take amazing care of their animals and show the true ups and downs of owning and competing. They never claim to be top riders, they know their limits.

I’m not bothered that they get gifted all this stuff or sponsored, they need it if they want to do YouTube as a job and yeah they have more than me but so what? I’m happy where I am and they are happy where they are.

As for Tina and Rob, my mum and stepdad have a big age gap, nothing wrong with that. They love each other dearly and are certainly not with each other for money. They both work for what they have and remember, they have been together for YEARS.

I prefer watching these guys than some people competing at higher levels and they are much better than these family vloggers who think an interesting day is going to the supermarket or store and do it on a daily basis

The equestrian world can be a cruel world and so can YouTube, so to do both is bloody brave I’d rather bring them up than put them down.

I couldn’t believe it when she described her horse as having ‘a **** attack’ earlier. Surely everyone knows we don’t speak like that anymore, it’s offensive and hurtful.

Agree with Lauren Allin, she is fab and I’ve also recently started following Eventing Ozzy. Sassysaks content is brill, love her horse Bruce.

Used to like Jess then she crept up Tina’s arse and now I feel she has lost her way on what her account should be.
Sometimes the constant swearing to seem cool and stuffing her face with chocolate is too much.

I cannot stand Lucy (footluce eventing) in the slightest!! Such a princess I’m not the biggest fan of the VE squad but when I do watch I always get the feeling Lucy looks down on them like she’s better then them

The VE squad ( also think this name sounds like a disease) are like the toxic kids at school that wanted everyone to worship them.
Not a fan of what they are promoting and feel they target the vulnerable with bullying behaviour. From people that now them personally they are not that nice

I really like Holly Lenahan. Lovely girl and so talented, I could watch her ride all day. You can tell she actually has a clue unlike a lot of them. I don’t think she is from a very spoilt or wealthy background either.

yeah I can’t help but wonder if both children actually really want to be out of school and spending their days hunting and so on. Did the youngest even get a chance to experience what school has to offer? I completely appreciate school isn’t a one size fits all model for all children, but it does seem like you’re right and she pulled them from school to keep up appearances on insta

Interesting story today from RTG I do wish she’d listen to the riding comments but it wasn’t well put but that said the video today is a hide improvement and she’s clearly IMO a lovely person She deserves a better instructor IMO

I really hope she takes the comment on board. She is to heavy and riding in a saddle to small neither of which help. If she lost weight and got a saddle that fits both of them she would find if far easier to balance and not yank the horse in the mouth or thud back in the saddle like a a sack of spuds. And once that is sorted find a decent instructor as the one she has is shit.
