Does anyone else find it weird that Riding with Rhi has an osteopath and just lies on a bed having treatment in the middle of the yard. So awkward.

I don’t think there are many equestrian influencer’s that saves pennies. It’s continuous weekly unboxing of new equipment and clothes for horse and rider every week, that’s not normal at all.

I find Emily (emd eventing) the most relatable. She balances her ads well, plus she’s horsey through and through.

I agree if you don't like then you don't watch but I also feel that these influencers with a large following need to take responsibility for their actions.
I couldn’t agree more. I’m confused as to how Tina has so many brand deals as she comes across as unprofessional, whiny and immature. Gets invited to Badminton (example) and then whines about “how much work it is”

Why also post the negative comments on instagram, is this to call out people for trolling or for her to receive messages of how she is adored by her followers, which it looks like she needs more.
Attention seeking. You might gain five minutes of attention by doing so but you lose respect. It’s pathetic. She has said in the past that she likes to call the authors of negative comments out but the only thing gained from doing so is attention. You will never see a mature, confident woman bringing the drama, in an effort to make herself feel more secure/wanted/liked/validated.

I really like Holly Lenahan. Lovely girl and so talented, I could watch her ride all day. You can tell she actually has a clue unlike a lot of them. I don’t think she is from a very spoilt or wealthy background either.
I really like Holly. She isn’t from a wealthy family, she is clearly very intelligent and worked hard to become a vet whilst also producing her home bred to 1.30, she knows what she is doing and she loves her horses and her job.

Of course, people have been going at her about how she is producing her ex-racer but blimey, she is doing well with him and do people not realise that we don’t all ride exactly the same?! It may not always look pretty but ex-racers are a whole different kettle of fish when it comes to schooling as they have only been taught to go in a straight line.

I think she is a great horse woman and seems very down to earth.

I also like Meg Elphick but we have the same sense of humour and like a bit of banter. Me and my family are wind up merchants so I guess I’ve been bought up with it 😂

I also like Lucy from Footluce Eventing. She also has a dry sense of humour, doesn’t take herself too seriously and is bloody stunning. I must admit, I’m a bit (ok, a lot) jealous of her 😂

Isnt it awful when someone puts something mean about you personally. …… maybe think about that before posting about others?
Just food for thought
Maybe if your gonna get easily offended on Tattle - where your allowed to discuss influencers etc, you should either not be on here or mute those you disagree with. It's a site to share your opinions on people isn't it? And that was mine. Worded reasonably too. Unlike plenty of slagging posts I've seen where it's heated and nasty, which I wasn't being.

Omg! I had never heard of her but went to watch the video! Why would you slow Mo the parts where she's yanking that poor horse in the mouth whilst booting him with her spurs whilst waving her whip around! And then the cheek to share about being hit hard by bullies- calling out awful treatment of a horse is NOT bullying or trolling 😡

I bet they pay for the entry fees of the horses they own as well!! I’ve really gone off her since she shared the half naked pictures of herself. Yes it’s great she lost the weight and should be so proud of herself. However those pictures should not have been shared on her dressage page, they should be just on her private page. Her dressage page should be suitable for young and old and those pictures where not an dit seems a lot would agree means how she lost followers. I bet a lot where not jealous like people said more thinking it wasn’t an appropriate post.
Totally agree on this & im by no way a prude lol I’m all for empowerment and loving the skin you’re in and posting whatever you want . But I do have an issue with sexy pics on a dressage page . It should be about the sport if it’s an Instagram professional page . Keep the personal stuff on a separate account .
Not that there’s anything offensive about a women’s body , cause let’s face it ....we are pretty fantastic beings . But there’s a time and a place.

I really don’t think she is a spoilt brat. She is a hard working young lady. A** school kid and a talented young rider. She knows she is privileged. The family have the money and if I was in the position of either one of them I would take the opportunity. Gio is going to help Annabella progress and she will then be able to put what she learnt into practise when teaching young horses. You can’t teach a young horse movements when you don’t know how to ride them!
And if I was Charlotte and offered the right amount, I would also take the opportunity. She has a great string of horses and is constantly on the look out for more and Gio was never going to be Valegro. He is a lovely horse and she has done well with him but she has some brilliant horses that she can now focus on whilst also helping and talented young rider.

Not an 'influencer' but Piggy March does a YouTube channel and it's fantastic. Really recommend it!

I also enjoy Matt Harnacke and Jesse Drent - especially their tours of fancy yards.

Evie has made it to ladbible 😂
just read some of the comments, not the reaction she was hoping for obviously 😆
She should be grateful for what she does have. She has horses, wonderful parents, designer gear given to her, people always commenting how amazing she is.
I can’t even afford a horse right now, I am longing to ride again. I can’t afford a car either so loaning would be difficult if I can’t get there by public transport, I have severe MH conditions which left me hospitalised on numerous occasions and epilepsy and scoliosis which causes me pain. But I won’t sue the NHS for not giving me long term therapy, or my mum for still having me when she was advised not to. it’s not their fault, it’s just the way life is.

sorry, rant over. It’s been a long and bad day!

Just a thing about bigger riders can ride light, I agree that riders like blog of a cob are certainly more balanced and far better riders than many lighter people but, the horse is still having to carry her weight + 2 stone worth of tack.
I completely agree that there are many smaller riders who constantly jab horses in the mouth and kick them in the ribs with spurs and can cause a lot of damage.

I find it pretty hypocritical to call these people out for ‘being mean’ when this whole thread is about bashing people. Don’t throw stones in glass houses.

i don’t like the whole VE squad vibe. Not sure why just gives me a uneasy feeling.
Always remember middle of lockdown them doing a n advert all together for Toggi when people were supposed to be isolating.

I wonder if RTG has ever thought that maybe it isn’t that equestrian brands aren’t inclusive, more that they only go up to certain sizes as any larger, would you not be too heavy to ride?
It is both.

I don’t think a size 14 is XL as per some brands and no one ever queries the weight of male riders

I don’t think RTG issue is her weight it is the complete apparent lack of awareness of her use of her hands/spurs

Life on the buckle and Sit back and kick on have gone very quiet. I hope everything is ok. I’m enjoying watching how they are getting on with Jim. He seems a really lovely sort.

Only catching up on Ray the goths reel now and I can’t understand why anyone would be happy with that video and post it?? She balances off her hands and peppers mouth so much that it’s like she’s sawing in order to keep her trot up, if that makes sense? Her hands and leg are working counterintuitively the way she’s riding. Like so many have posted here, learning the basics properly would benefit her much more than trying to jump and show etc!

when my core was weak after an accident and not riding for a while I felt like my hands weren’t my own, they had no softness to them and I was lifting them and pulling because I couldn’t balance myself, it didn’t take long togo back to normal but that’s what Rays video looks like she’s doing.

there’s so much controversy over weight while riding and I see why, I’d never fat shame anybody and I like that she has the courage to put herself out there but like others I would question what’s best for the horse. The horse is overweight which makes her look ‘stronger’ but in fact she’s probably weaker because of her own extra weight she’s carrying. Didn’t she have some problems with stiffness in her hind end lately? I don’t want to be nasty at all but I would be looking at her joints while jumping purely because her rider isn’t balanced. I’m sure we’ve all been over jumped and landed like a sack of spuds in the saddle, I deffo have but wear and tear on those joints will catch up to her if it’s constant.

my friend is a bit smaller than Ray but her mare has been jumping years and she’s cutting back now because it’s going to eventually have an impact on her joints and as the mare gets older she wants her to be happy and comfortable rather than just competing because her rider loves it!

pepper does seem a lovely honest horse but I would be worried she’s learning bad habits or she’ll turn sour if she’s unhappy. Like someone else said, riding forward does not mean she’s happy! I remember reading a show post where she had countless refusals and I would take that as a sign to go back to the drawing board and maybe we aren’t ready for those kinds of days? That video where she jumped the grid - that was just really bad riding. Sometimes you have to put what you want to do aside and do what’s best for your horse like absolutely nail your flatwork, both of ye get fit and balanced and then go jumping. I’d honestly be questioning her trainers credibility at this point.

Does anyone have any recommendations on who to follow? Preferably people bringing on young horses as I’d love some inspo!!

They are still living off daddy’s money whether he’s alive or not . They haven’t had a difficult life and are just spoilt brats who would never get to where they are without daddy’s estate and funding . They didnt start with nothing . He did .
I’m not saying it was their money. I’m sure they know they’d be nowhere without their dad’s money, but I’m also sure he wanted to bestow what he worked for onto them. I see both sides here- ‘buying’ your way to the top of the sport does seem unfair, Guranteed you need to be a good rider but that’s easier with money and lessons from top class riders. But also- if my dad had given me lots of money- I think I would go and buy something that knew its job and could take me to the top too. Horse sports are elitist and I’m sure we all know that. Unfortunately it won’t change and I think that if I was in a position to get myself to the top I’d probably take it too.
