I finished my Christmas shopping last week. Similarly I already have all my nieces and nephews birthday presents bought for next year.
Doesn't hurt to plan a bit and shop sales, you know that way I SAVE MONEY on things I have to buy anyway. But she is the most impulsive person who buys expensive s*it on a whim so
There is no point having a no spend October if you just wait until prices rise before Christmas. Far better to budget and buy things when you need them. It does not help either if you bring forward your spending to the week before. I think she is justifying it because she can't have her five thousand pound Disney holiday in Florida so she has to have lots of treats. Apologies to anyone struggling to feed their children or pay their rent.
All she’s done is spend more in September and will do the same on November so it’s a waste of time. I don’t agree with no spend days, just be more considered with your spending but Emma can’t. She just buys and buys.
She’s been away for a week, shopping and couldn’t pick her dads shoes up before then ?! And also yes why eating out for both meals? Her dad don’t go to Blackpool because of covid but he’s happy to go to a restaurant with Emma thinking she’s been in contact with someone with covid. She’s be better to cook him something at home, save money and exposure. Too much effort for porky princess.

Part of me was worried the shops will shut again, and part of me dreads trudging round the shops if they are open in December.
Why does she have to break it 5 times over? Is she trying to do the same with her spend days as she did with the month of September - cram as much in as possible so she has half a chance at succeeding on a NSD? There’s no point doing a no spend month if your spending will be the same, just a different pattern
I wouldn’t begrudge her ONE meal out with her dad but everything else is unnecessary or should have been done before today
All the spends she listed will work out to cost hundreds. Such a contrast to other people who mess up a NSD with a takeaway coffee or something similarly cheap

Just a thought.... if you are collecting your grocery shop today, why don’t you cook something lovely at home for your dad. Do you really need to go out to lunch and dinner?

Yes that's a point, if she's possibly been in contact with someone who has Covid, should she even be risking meeting up with him?

There isn’t any point pretending to do this no spend October. She will be buying in secret or buying for “eBay” to get her shopping addiction fix.
Emma it isn’t enjoyable watching your content. Please get help for your shopping addiction. There was no point spending crazy amounts of money in September to “prepare” for your no spend month. Nobody wants to watch you go broke spending like this.
