First time poster, average lurker. Now I quite like Islington Academy (academy 2 or whatever), the really small one only used by pub singers and small American bands. If she is so goddamn huge then this is literally one step above singing in your local if im completely honest. Like 250 people capacity?

I mean duck. Last time I went there was to see Flyleaf of all things. And they most certainly were not big. Lol

first time poster, hello - I can never get over how rude she comes across replying to fans on twitter? She always seems so irritated, it's embarrassing. Makes me feel bad for her fans (goes without saying that the new music is awful)
I saw her Reddit page a while back and couldn’t believe how rude she was to fans on there either. Constantly hinting at taking legal action against them when they did something with her irrelevant music that she didn’t like 🙄 she needs to get over herself before she alienates the last few stans she has left.

it's truly baffling to me. And they don't seem bothered? If anything her stans get all apologetic as if they've done something wrong.

She's lucky she's so irrelevant otherwise she'd get called out for her behaviour - as it is nobody cares about the google plus girl 😬

I fell down the tiny rabbit hole and read her reddit comments and damn they're bet. she isn’t a nice person when it comes to defending herself. but i also found it very cringy that she has commented on anything even if wasn’t even a question in the first place?

this made me laugh tho - is this some kind of self reflection going on there? cause i‘m guilty of showing interest about her view counts in the past but i can't be bothered by her music. and i honestly liked villains when it came out so you could say this is coming from a former fan.
i absolutely hate how she's putting down other creators and people who watch those kind of content with her last sentence. it's a bit rich of her to say she's grown and moved on from this kind of content when she comes across as the most arrogant and bullshitting youtuber

Maybe part of the problem is how often she's switched up her style/format/content/look. Of course people are going to move on, and switch off. People like consistency.

I maintain one of her worst online decisions was merging all her channels into one. Had she not done that, she may have left some to rot, but at least her content would be seperate and her music would feel less out of place on her main channel. As it is, her music is now on her main channel which also hosts storytimes, challenge videos, cringe drama, etc. The latest storytime videos would've done comfortably on 'Vloggery', her music could've sat on its own on her main channel, etc.

I take back my prior point about gig capacity. It seems Emma is playing 600-800 capacity venues. Which is surprisingly large for her if I am honest. Would make sense then to stick to three shows as it will quite likely cost more than it makes. The venues won't be happy either as none of the fans will be old enough to spend copious amounts on cans of Carlsberg for a fiver a go. Like maybe they will bring their parents or summat? And buy some of that horrific merchandise that looks like it has been thrown together at the last minute.

I saw pictures on Instagram of fans buying her £33.99 "vip" tickets. Like when I think Vip I think somewhere around £300 to get a balcony seat and a sniff of the band.

The other point I thought of is when she said "my terms" is about an ex who got pissed about or some such, so why is it basically the same song as the previous two thematically? Like I get it the concept of the album is basically "MY ex ducked me over but IM still here!" (Taylor Swift much?) so it makes no sense that she would divert from the theme that is all about her to talk about her friend who just so happened to have exactly the same thing happen at the same time. That said the music is pretty bad anyway, with a bit of vocal coaching she could maybe sound like a poundland Sophie Ellis-Bextor I guess.

I think it's really sad in her recent video how she keeps referring to her music as a "career" like it's anything more than mediocre garbage at BEST.

I imagine her current partner helps her live out her delusions. They're both successful musicians, y'know.

My music taste is actually pretty eclectic.
(I know of Emma from her YouTube comedy, not her garbage music) and I've never heard of him or his washed up band lol

“Career” Oh yes - getting nosebleeds from reaching as high as… oh wait…nothing from her album has charted in the UK charts… but maybe she’ll get added to a Spotify playlist along with everything else added on a friday and she can pretend it’s a big deal.

Also imagine posting about yourself and saying how nothing is your fault and how you’ve “glowed up” as an adult.

Curb your narcissism

13-14 year old me loved some of the songs on perfect, distance and sucks to be you. those eps were released in 2013, 2014 and 2016. she sort of came back in 2018 with villains. all her music seems to do is change genre, her vocals haven’t really improved (she always sounds out of breath?) neither has her song writing.

her original audience has now grown up and i don’t think a bunch of 20+ year olds want to be watching someone who looked like the 4th member of the tramp stamps on their friday night song a song they’ve heard before .

One day later, still at 4800 video views. Embarrassing.

Has she dumped that creepy guy yet or are they still a bloodsucking couple?
They're still leeching on each other.

And how many 20-somethings want to listen to cringey teenager/high school lyrics involving 'ex-friends' and drama, etc? Emma literally has no life experience.

I'm not dragging her for writing about emotions and feelings, etc. but it all comes off as so cringeworthy and "13 year old's ranty diary" somehow.

That second tweet. I'm actually cringing with secondhand embarrassment. Letting people who never think about you live rent free in your head is not a good look.
