The new single has the standard 110% "omg best song YET. I can't believe it's better than the last one" comments already. Like do her fans not get it that it's ok to be like "yeah I normally like her tit but this song ain't quite for me."

Or she really does censor all replies and only posts the positive, which really makes the praise look incredibly fake if im honest. Nothing is perfect and no one gets 100% positive receptions.

absolutely positive she deletes all negative comments cause the ONLY time I've ever seen them is post within like a 5-20 min window and they're gone lol. NO WAY everyone listening to that tit is like "OMG. AMAZEBALLS!"
Unless she's SOOO bleeping irrelevant that trolls can't even be bothered to remind her once again she's tit

It sounds pretty much the same as her other tit lol. It’s not the worst song but it’s also not as omg amazing as her fans make out.

Of course she cares about numbers, just last year, she bragged about her EP outselling major bands like the Killers and the 1975 and then got exposed as a liar when they got no1 and her EP failed to chart. If she didn’t care why brag about it.

People pointing out 5k views for 1.3M video isn’t them being nasty it is just unusual.

Also I don’t want to come across as a total cow but she looked rough in that last video. I don’t know if it was the lighting or what but She’s only a bit older than me so i’m not calling her old or anything.

The Numbers Game video is only Part 1! Because nothing screams “not bothered” more than a multi-part series explaining why you’re not bothered.

Also, the video title and thumbnail made me assume that she was doing a mini documentary-style series. That style of video is becoming more popular on YouTube and Emma loves a bandwagon, but it’s just her sitting and vlogging like it’s 2014. It’s strange seeing someone change style so often, yet remain stuck in the past in other ways (thinking about her obsession with drama from years ago too).

You didnt see the shots of her in a tartan skirt, beer belly out celebrating this week's single? Please dont think I'm body shaming either, as a skinny man with a bigger belly than her I feel her pain. I also have less talent. But at least realise it.

First time commenting. I had to speak on this to someone without sounding like I’m being bitter lol.

I just watched the live she did on her Instagram and I’m very confused. She reads out a comment about someone saying something along the lines of “do you remember me and my girlfriend?” And she replies with “that’s weird. Don’t say things like that, this is a friendly chat”, and I’m left wondering what was wrong with this comment? Am I missing something?
And another thing. She mentions how everyone has been acting strange this week and she says that there just be “something in the water”, to which a commenter replies “it could be the weather” and she responds to this by (getting defensive dare I say?) saying “it was a joke”. I don’t understand how she is so defensive towards every comment. I myself have BPD and there are some things I can relate to, however instead of improving her mental health she’s more embracing it, and that’s something I don’t agree with. I really didn’t like her in this live, it made me uncomfortable yet I continued to watch, like a car crash.
Side note: the way she’s explaining in depth what her lyrics mean…I don’t think we need these simplified for us as the songs aren’t really that “deep”, but thus carry on… See these albums she’s releasing where each song is about someone who did her wrong - would it not be better revenge to not talk about them again? Instead of letting them know you’re constantly thinking about how they did you dirty? This is all my opinion so perhaps I’m mislead.

She always sounds so snippy even responding to the most harmless comments. Particularly mad in her position because it's not like she's rolling in engagement, she can hardly afford to alienate the few fans she has left. And yet...

Why can't she just do what most people on twitter (with a large following, generally speaking) do, and ignore people instead of being snippy?

Also, can't she go a fortnight without changing her look again?

Honestly, her being rude to people on her livestreams is what turned me off her in the first place. I remember one summer (2016??? Idk, can’t be assed to look it up) she was doing once-a-week livestreams and more times than not she’d be in an awful mood, so she’d take even the most innocent and supportive comments towards her, twist them into being malicious, and then make “snarky” (read: rude af) replies back, and then she’d get upset when people called her out on her rudeness and start dishing out more of those replies, creating a constant feedback loop that lasted until she ended the livestream. It’s been years and I still have yet to understand or even explain that behavior. She has a fanbase of diehards who support her, and hell even some casual fans remaining, so you’d think she’d be on her best behavior at least when talking directly to them, but nope, gotta pretend the world is out to get her to feed that persecution/victim complex.

Also, checked her Twitter earlier and she got so heated up over someone saying they hope she’s happy with her boyfriend, so looks like she hasn’t changed one bit in all that time.

And on another note it’s been almost a week since she uploaded her two latest videos and she’s nowhere near hitting 10k views on either of them. Cue this post making it into her Gabbie hanna-esc series because I’m talking about her numbers, but duck. Even if she was the most drama-free YouTuber (which she’s far from being, and she has yet to realize that 80% of the drama at this point is caused by her own damn persecution complex) we’d still be talking about it because those abysmal views for a channel of 1.3 million isn’t just unusual, it’s alarming. This is way past the superficial “numbers game” or whatever the duck she’s on about. Her channel is deader than dead and she should be concerned instead of chastising people for simply discussing it. I haven’t seen a worse sub-to-views ratio before.

I just love how there's a thousand explanations. Dead accounts, people have moved on, maybe people preferred her old content, etc. Like, yes, to a point, but you're barely hitting 10,000 views a video and you have 1,300,000 subscribers? That's a hell of a difference.

oh my God, just had a look and the other person has deleted their tweets but Emma's responses are so embarrassing 🙈 She makes everything into this big drama then writes endless songs about how misunderstood she is and people are so mean to her, like...if she's like this with people she actually knows then it's no wonder.

Girl in a Box is starting to develop another meaning - the box she's put herself in deliberately and isolated herself from everyone around her.

So two singles after her final single from her new album "Poop in a box" comes the final single. 'Ridicule'

At this point may as well just release the final couple of tracks and hideous remixes and be done with it.

So, she retweets that thing about moving on when you get ghosted and accepting it, but writes a whole song because someone ghosted her? Talk about hypocrisy...

Wait a second! She says this the final single before the album drops. This means that she can and probably will release the rest as singles after launch. I mean Fall out Boy did it fairly well with 'Save rock and roll.' Each video told a separate part of the same storyline, a bit like Poop in a box has with all the songs about how Emma got dicked over ten years ago and she still had mean feelings inside about it.
