They banned alcohol in the stadiums, which pissed off a lot of fans. they also banned cultural masks the Mexican fans wear, which also pissed ppl off. Qatari government hired fake fans for each country to show fake support in the streets of Qatar. Qatar is also supposedly unequipped to handle the amount of tourist that are coming for the games. I think it will be a good experience for tourists and all will go well, I have family in Doha who have told me the atmosphere is great everyone is excited. Of course the media will find a way to portray everything in a negative light. The only thing to massively criticise is the migrant worker deaths which is appalling. Something needs to change in regards to treatment of migrant workers all over the gulf in general. In regards to alcohol limitations, let people try and have fun without being inebriated for once, they might realise it’s actually possible.

The autorities in Qatar, will have trouble, with that! I remember some time ago, they warned foreign women, to be MODESTLY dressed! No short and thight, dresses, skirts, jeans, and leggings. No cut tops, and blouses, no boobs showing. Even on the beach, women were adviced, to be modest, and to respect the locals, their relegion and country!
