I bet she’s just itching for autumn to finally roll around, I think fall and winter are her “cosy” content niche. She has SEVERELY run out of ideas and I can already see all the cozy decorating, baking, walks, etc when it gets colder outside. Her content is just so boring though that after the first few videos it will all be the same regurgitated format.

Also- I can’t believe she recorded audio of Cameron talking during his meeting?? Privacy issues aside, it’s just such an immature thing to do, and definitely something that he could get in trouble for.

For someone who’s trying to be a content creator, she really doesn’t do much with her social media. She’s currently in South Africa and she hasn’t posted one story/post on IG. It could be that she doesn’t care about driving traffic to her page, which is fair.

But realistically speaking, what content creator doesn’t care about engagement and building a social media presence.

I find this strange too, especially since she is very focused on the numbers of it all and always includes increasing her IG followers etc. on her vision board.

So annoying how she keeps referring to inanimate objects as 'she' and 'her'. When speaking about her new cardigan: "I love her. She's so cute!" I think she always referred to her car in this way - but now it's everything in her life, cardigans, mugs, the lot!

I watched a bit of the honeymoon video but found it felt too voyeuristic - I don’t know what my friends and family got up to for their last holiday let alone seeing the intimate details of someone’s honeymoon! There is an unspoken social agreement that certain parts of life, especially an intimate, romantic honeymoon, belong strictly inside the relationship and by filming it for context Ellen has definitely jumped the shark..

The moment I stopped watching was a clip she put in of Cameron sitting down singing to himself and then doing an awkward wave - he looked a bit care in the community and I thought how mean it was that she included that.

And yes the amount of money that her and Cameron have access to doesn’t seem to reflect their respective incomes so they are clearly being bankrolled by one or both of their families, or had a lottery win!

She did show her working from home and on Video calls in some blogs, I think my work would have something to say if they found out I was recording myself on calls during working hours. I'm glad she has at least been honest about it now. It sounds like it came as a bit of a shock, I wonder if they suspended her.

Much less silly squealing, inane smiling into the camera and weird hand gestures in this week's vlog which was refreshing.

I've watched a few more of her videos lately and I think she is quite harmless and inoffensive; and I do like her make-up recommendations. I still think it's a shame she gave up her corporate job as those day in the life videos were quite good and more relatable. I do have to say, these influencer types really do give too many personal details away, she lives local-ish to me and it took about 5 mins to work out exactly where she lives..

I watched her yesterday for the first time in ages and wondered why she wasn't working in London. Her hands drive me crazy and that big ass ring is so ostentatious. I came here to get the scoop. Not interested in her booktube at all. I have totally different taste. That house on the canal is more than 1.25 million more like 1.5 or more. I remember the last time I watched her, it was the Christmas party. It was like a frat party. He did a lot of work on the main room and she didn't like the colour plus it was during that horrid storm where no one should have been out on the roads.

Looks like she's off to South Africa and her wedding planning series is about to begin (yawn!) I watched her latest reel on mute but I can tell she is highly highly excited by the insane amount of hand clapping!

I watched a few of her older vlogs after they were mentioned here, and she did seem much more chill and all-round more likeable back then. Watching them reminded me of how much more I enjoyed her vlogs when she lived and worked in London.

She really picked herself up quickly after that break-up. Took herself off on holiday, made a list and stuck to it!

The CLAWS and hand gestures in the latest reel was ridiculous ! It feels like she is putting on this super happy positive persona but she doesnt need to ! I much prefer laid back Ellen

I feel like she was more into the wedding itself than, idk, the person she was getting married to?? Maybe bc she knew it’s all being filmed and would go online but it just felt performative.

Today's vlog was quite short but so boring and she's becoming more and more removed from reality. Titting about spending a shitload of money on expensive clothes, face cream and books (Waterstones must surely be THE most expensive place to buy books!)

Reminds me of when she filmed a video about buying books in The Works as her followers had told her the books were cheaper there and she was astounded shows shed never stepped foot in there in her life like some of us plebs have !

Also is it just me or is she very eager to start growing their family?? She’s mentioned it a few times and now in this vlog she was talking about growing family, babies and dogs. Slow down!!

Clearly keen to have the wedding and move on to the next phase of her life which is being a beige Surrey yummy mummy.

She definitely won’t have time to colour in a book journal I can tell her that much

She is charging £26 for a digital wedding planner that includes tabs for a wedding day schedule and vision board. Surely most people can just do that stuff themselves instead of handing over £26 to Ellen. Maybe this is something her followers have been asking for? I wouldn't know.

Surprised to hear she recorded Cameron on a work call when her previous workplace took such a poor view of her YouTube antics!

I’ve stopped watching her vlogs. All that hand waving and squealing is too much for me. I wish her luck as I can’t see that relationship surviving long term.

It's all very dull now. I do wonder how she must be finding her new life as a full time youtuber in comparison to her corporate role. In her shoes I would struggle to find conversaton to make with my partner (i'm comparing to how I felt on maternity leave and whilst enjoying time with my baby, felt a bit out of touch with reality). If she is just biding her team till the wedding and getting pregnant it would be refreshing to see her doing some voluntary work rather than spending every vlog baking, buying coffee and book shopping.

I think after the wedding she’s going to have a huge reality check/emotional crash out. Right now she’s riding the high of wedding planning and still being less than one year out of her corporate job. Life will feel mundane again and with her views already much lower than they were back in 2023/2024, I think she’s going to face the fact that being a full time YouTuber is not sustainable anymore. Either that or Cameron will have to take responsibility as primary financial provider and she will pop out a baby by end of 2026. Still, feels extremely unfulfilling for her.

Her vlog viewing figures are incredibly low - how on earth does she make a living from them?

Tbh I think they rely much more on Cameron’s income than she has let on. Also, maybe she got a good chunk of money from selling her old flat and she’s dipping into that? All her material is recycled and over done with very little relatability. I’d much rather watch someone’s repetitive 9-5 videos rather than them waffling around at home all day.
