She's absolutely insufferable.
She knew exactly where and when Cameron would propose and probably gave him detailed instructions.
I've never seen anyone so desperate for a ring. (Well, maybe Niomi Smart).
I didn't actually listen to what she said but she is annoying even on mute!

She annoys me SO much now and a random Ick I have with her is her nails. Go to a decent salon girl, you got enough money.. they shouldnt be flicked up like that if that’s your natural nail then you should definitely not be having them rounded or almond shaped.

I must admit Ive not had good vibes when watching her with him previously . I think it was their couple Q+A where it was really noticeable . I remember seeing a lot of comments saying how into her he seemed and how meh she was to him ! I also always thought they rushed their relationship very fast for not just moving in together , but BUYING a house together !

When his brother came to stay she was FAR nicer to him and the way she spoke to her than she ever did Cam too

I wonder if she is desperate to marry snd get pregnant,he's the only man who has stuck around. She probsbly chooses a man on his salary, I used to enjoy her vlogs but she seems so dull and predictable since she left her job

Today's vlog was quite short but so boring and she's becoming more and more removed from reality. Titting about spending a shitload of money on expensive clothes, face cream and books (Waterstones must surely be THE most expensive place to buy books!) when she doesn't have a regular income, then making some biscuits. She lives the life of a rich and retired pensioner! She's now so unrelateable to most people, and not just of her age.

Cameron met her when she was working in a corporate job. How soon before he becomes bored of what limited conversation she must have, unless he wants a Stepford Wife.

I've now realised she's surely a parody vlogger - mid year goal and vision setting, a vision board with a 'reading nook', expressing surprise that the engagement ring on the 'vision board' was the exact one Cameron got her (which she no doubt sent him the link for, with her ring size...!). She's a comedy genius!

Yeah, she really wanted that ring (which I think is really ugly btw). I think she's very calculated in her approach to life just like she was in her approach to becoming a full-time influencer (it's just her personality type) and has a set timeline for when everything will happen.

I'm sure it was no real surprise to her that he proposed or when it happened. I didn't watch the proposal video as I can imagine just how OTT excited she was in that one. But a proposal was on her vision board for that year. Cameron understood the assignment.

ETA: When I first started watching her I thought she was pretty chill and laid back. That's the impression I got in those early videos I watched. I've since come to realise she's really not like that at all! She did seem to change when she moved house/became a full-time influencer.

Yep that ring is so her, bland and generic. I recall her saying that the proposal served as some sort of her reassurance after her ex broke up with her which made her very insecure.

I started watching her last year, so was very surprised to learn they bought a house barely a year into their relationship.

Oh wow! Had they only been together a year when they bought the house? I didn't know that! I think she lived with her ex in her London flat (maybe they initially co-owned it? I'm not sure about that).

That break-up must have screwed with her timeline which meant she wanted to be sure of a ring from Cameron.

Referring to herself as 'we' is so annoying. It's just as annoying as referring to her handbag as 'she'.

Are her views dropping? I just noticed that her last few vlogs have under 10K views. Seems low. I'm sure her channel used to be more popular? Perhaps people are tiring of her.

I noticed that about her views. Feel like she's probably alienated her original viewers as her content is so different, and now her book videos are on a different channel? It's confusing, and she's so unrelatable and just different these days.

Almost at the end of the last one (wedding prattle, getting her nails done, being a pain in the arse while Cameron was on a work meeting) and that was a tedious watch! I honestly think she's regressed to being an immature teenaged girl - banging on about Taylor Swift, 'inspo' for whatever, fiddling with her hair, being 'excited' to have burgers for her tea and a 'self care evening' (i.e a bath!). She's going to wear thin with Cameron before too long!

Agreed, feel like she has no context of real life and also isn’t fully submerged in “influencer” circles and events so she is this weird in between that doesn’t work for her viewers.

I’ve stopped watching her vlogs. All that hand waving and squealing is too much for me. I wish her luck as I can’t see that relationship surviving long term.

All her vlogs are like Grounhog day. I can understand vloggers who also have a job having fairly repetitive content,at least it's only a hobby or side hustle for them. When people leave jobs/careers to make social media their 'full time job' and their content is repetitive, it's clear they either lack inspiration or see it as 'easy money' and throw together anything just to scrape together a living. Sadly Ellen comes across as quite boring and the relationship she's in comes across as 'staged' for social media,she seems quite needy and not very nice to him at times. Almost as if shes with him because she needs to keep up with her friends and he was available

She might not have mentioned her workplace, but at the time she had an active LinkedIn account with her work listed on her profile so it would have been easy to find out where she worked.

I’m not sure what I would do in that situation if I was made to choose between a hobby with a passive income and my career - tough and I feel slightly sorry for her! I guess she can always find another 9-5 that’s lenient with their social media policy.

I feel like I’m watching a kid sometimes who has no idea how the world works when I watch her videos.

Also that fact that she said Cameron handles all of the financial stuff?? That is such a HUGE no no as a woman. As a 30 year old she needs to know how to save, invest, pay her bills, plan for the future. The stupid prompt of saving 3p a week isn’t doing anything for anyone

Given she lived alone and was a (seemingly successful) consultant on a good salary before she met Cameron, it’s like she removed her brain and became a Surrey Stepford wife as soon as he moved in. If he’s happy to sign up for that, good for him but, presumably, she’s no longer the independent person he was initially attracted to.

Ellen has become more disingenuous than ever, it’s crazy! She’s flogged Suri toothbrush, Merit makeup/skincare, HelloFresh in the past and these are the ones I can remember.

Her engagement and views have been dwindling so no surprise that her latest vlog is based on a 9-5 content which was what attracted viewers like myself to her page in the first place.

Instead of trying to become another generic cookie clutter influencer, why can’t she get another job? I reckon she’d be more successful and her content will be more relatable, but nope she’s happy to drive from one Waterstones to the other in the name of working!

I think she should get another corporate role too, even if it’s just a part time role 3 days a week, so she can still focus on making content. The longer she is out of role, the harder it will be to go back, and the lazier she will get. I think she’s so focused on the next part of her grand plan once the wedding is over - having a baby - that going back to work is out of the question in her mind.

They've repainted the living room now because she didn't like it.

Never any mention of whether Cameron did, I wonder if his opinion if even considered or whether Ellen just gets her own way all the time (highly likely yes!). I noticed in the vlog she referred to 'my' colour choice, not 'our'. And how much must it have cost to use Farrow and Ball (which I used in my small kitchen, just to see what the fuss was about and it's no better than Dulux or Crown!) for a room that size?!

I don't see how she's going to increase her subscriber numbers when she vlogs 'plant potting date night' - basically potting up a couple of plants she'd bought - and baking bread buns, all while flapping her hands around. Her lifestyle isn't one most would aspire to, or be interested in, even in that gorgeous house.

I think she's not an anxious personality at all. I think the only area she worries about is money. Her influencer career is not making her near enough as Cameron's job so she worries. And because of it she calls herself anxious.
