I really enjoyed Ellen's vlogs when she lived in her flat, but actually unsubbed from her a few months ago as I find her so annoying now. I will still watch a vlog here and there but her behaviour has changed since she decided to become a full-time influencer. It's like she feels she has to be super upbeat and positive at all times. Her behaviour is very OTT with lots of hand clapping and squealing.I don't remember her ever being this highly excitable back when she lived in her flat. It's just annoying.

I never remember her being much of a reader, but she suddenly hopped on the BookTube bandwagon in order to broaden her appeal and bring more viewers in. She's very calculated in her approach to influencing and is all about hitting targets and bringing the numbers in. She once said she labelled her Autumn vlogs as 'Fall' vlogs in order to gain an American viewership. She'll also accept any Ad or sponsorship she is offered.

She's so privileged. Her old flat was around £650k and her current home she has with Cameron is around £1.2M. It's an insane life when you think she's just 30. It's all her parents money I assume. Who knows what Cameron does but his friends all look like privileged frat boys so I'm not holding my breath there either.

I do have a soft spot for Ellen, but watching her latest videos, she is living the life of a 70 year old retiree. Knowing Cameron's job - easy to find online - he can't be earning the mega bucks to keep them in that lifestyle single-handedly and surely YouTube can't pay all that much, so did she have a secret lottery win or something? I know she has said before she had savings from her corporate days, but she's been out of work for a year or two now..

It's just such a drastic leap from the videos that first made her more 'popular', like the 9-5 vlogs and productive routines. Not all of us want to bake cakes, hang laundry and read teenage books all day!

She is exposing her boob just standing there, what happens when they dance? I haven't watched her since she stopped working. I found sisters Jess and Jen Harris, I just realized Jen is a lawyer. They are so different for sisters but like both of them. Jess just got engaged and her ring is so pretty. Not crazy looking like a bubble gum ring but classic.

They barely live together. Cameron spends most of the week away from home. Are they sure they are ready for the relationship to move to another level?

I do feel for her since I’m sure she thought her YouTube would continue to take off like it did in the 2023-2024 era. I think she really underestimated how little people care for full time YouTubers and would rather watch someone with a normal job, normal life. Her content also feels quite repetitive and uninspired now.

In her recent boring vlog, She said Taylor Swift inspires her so much and makes her want to do better with her life. Now I know why her personality is bland and devoid of substance.

Sadly for her, she’s not a billionaire and has little to no actual talent except for overstating fake enthusiasm at everything she tries/does.

Call me a cynic - and all of the comments on the wedding vlog are happy and positive - but they were already formally married in London on Valentine's Day, so why all this (incredibly over the top and very expensive) fuss in South Africa?!

I also think the groom could have been any rich professional she was with at the stage in her obvious life plan of married at 31, babies at 33 etc - it just happened to be Cameron.

I really can't bring myself to watch anymore but since when has she been an "anxious girlie?" She's never struck me as being anxious. Is this another trend she's hopped on in the hopes of getting more views?

Her YT really isn't growing at all. Still less than 20K views for most vlogs and less than 10K for some. Not great considering this is her full-time job. There is no way she's earning anything close to what she was earning in her corporate job.

I cringed so hard when she went on about how happy she was being engaged at the same time as Taylor swift. I have nothing against like Taylor swift but..seriously?? As a 30 year old you don’t have better things to be happy about in life??? She centers too much of her content around her engagement/ relationship/ wedding.

For someone who’s trying to be a content creator, she really doesn’t do much with her social media. She’s currently in South Africa and she hasn’t posted one story/post on IG. It could be that she doesn’t care about driving traffic to her page, which is fair.

But realistically speaking, what content creator doesn’t care about engagement and building a social media presence.

Anyone else find it cringe how her whole personality revolves around being a swiftie?

Not to age shame and I’m also in the same age bracket, but I can’t imagine a 30 something year old woman fangirling over another woman’s wedding. Is this what happens when you don’t have much else going on for you?

she literally tries to be every cliche going. She seems to latch onto anything that would make her famous or get a following from TikTok and Instagram, from the books she reads to fangirling over Taylor.

So glad her hand gestures enrage other people as much as me, it’s so annoying!! I did like her to begin with but can no longer relate when all she does all day is read or mince around in her marble handmade kitchen, in her house on the river (I’m thinking it must be near Richmond so ££££). She is definitely holding out to be a stepford wife while Cameron works away all week.

For me, the saddest thing about the finances segment is not the fact she's being controlled by Cameron. But the fact that no one else clocked this in the comments. All of the 'girlies' in the comments talk about her crafts and silly things. But no other woman (except us here on Tattle) actually mentioned how dangerous it is to be a woman who doesn't take care of her own finances and leaves the fully control on her man. Feminism is dead with GenZ.

Thankfully Jess Harris doesn’t seem like she has any intention of giving up her 9-5, I much prefer her content.

I don't like her, personally. Neither I like her sister. First I thought what a breath of fresh air, but when you start looking closer, they are both privately educated, with loads of family help, etc. The UK is full of privileged influencers who got there because of their safety net (getting cameras from parents, etc.). Do you know any that aren't privileged from the start (and aren't total chats)? I need to watch more 'normal' people for my mental health.

From the very little we know/see of Cameron - it seems like he likes “taking care” of her. So very little incentive for her to step up and get a job, become more financially literate, etc. it honestly makes me sad because she really used to be the epitome of someone women could look up to - a woman with a full time job, her own mortgage, a side hustle. Now she just gardens, shops and reads all day

I think dog is next on their list!

Almost at the end of the last one (wedding prattle, getting her nails done, being a pain in the arse while Cameron was on a work meeting) and that was a tedious watch! I honestly think she's regressed to being an immature teenaged girl - banging on about Taylor Swift, 'inspo' for whatever, fiddling with her hair, being 'excited' to have burgers for her tea and a 'self care evening' (i.e a bath!). She's going to wear thin with Cameron before too long!

Wonder if he signed some kind of contract ,he's almost an afterthought all she cares about is the I G engagement ring picture. I think she's so desparate to post the perfect life on social media she'd leech onto any bloke who showed attention ,not sure love comes into it

I think there's a strong possibility that Cameron agreed to propose within a certain timeframe. She was in her previous relationship for five (?) years and was probably expecting a ring but instead was dumped. She couldn't let that happen again. We have seen that most of her besties have babies. She's already lagging behind on that count. She definitely had a plan going into this relationship. I think she was sticking to that plan no matter what.

It's wild that they probably started looking to buy a house just a few months into their relationship when they only really see each other at weekends since Cameron seems to work away most weeks.

Judging by her latest viewing figures, it looks as though she may be wearing thin with her audience too. The figures for her most recent video are exceptionally low - 6.2K views after 6 days.

Whenever I watch her now it's like watching a different person to how she was a few years back. I do wonder if some of how she acts is just for YouTube (maybe she's seen this behaviour from another influencer and thinks it will appeal to her viewers?)* All I know is this OTT/loud/highly excited by everything/flappy hands person is not who she used to be.
