So sad to see Elles post this morning, it seems as though things are not good with her Mum. I lost my Mum due to cancer at a young age and am an only child sl i know exactly what shes going through, its very sad.

Can’t imagine how hard it must having to see your Mum become ill, knowing it’s terminal and progressively getting worse and worse and when both girls are still so young as well. Heartbreaking. I think Elle also feels she has to stay strong for Katie as well. So sad.

and if the situations are similar you’ve basically implied her mum could have slept on Christmas Day, so Katie was left alone?
I understand people are triggered by their own experiences but you can’t compare, nobody can, we can only comment on what we see.
In a situation like Elle is in with her Mum there is no right or wrong way to do anything. It’s a very hard situation that every family deals with in their own way. We only know about 10% of what’s going on with that situation and what everyone is doing in that situation (who’s spending time with who etc) so it’s unfair to say Elle isn’t doing enough or what she is doing is wrong.
In exactly the same way it’s unfair to speculate that Connor is emotionally abusing elle and he stopped her from spending Christmas with her mum

Can anyone explain the family tree to me please? I know she and Lucy have different mother's. I've not long started with them all. I hate myself for finding them intriguing

He's writing a book now too, so he will be Ex con, former banker, Publandlord and author Dad but not sure he can have a title as long as his daughter Lucy Jessica Carter supermom of four, twin girls and two boysAnd the dad with all the pubs was in jail
