It's a joke. But obviously any time there is a negative comment about Elena on this thread, which is essentially a GOSSIP PAGE, her team comes in an defends her. Haven't seen many of you here before. Gosh, wonder why. Yes, maybe you are all Elena for all I know. Elena with different accounts. It is possible. What makes no sense is why are you here if you are just going to knock down any criticism of Elena as mysogynistic (which it is not) and just defend her as some kind of demi-god? And no, criticising someone for their fake content doesnt mean someone is jealous.

You are making a false dichotomy when there is none. The criticism was of her unoriginal, brainless content. Making stupid content abou her outfits does not qualify as "liking fashion." Superdacob and sophieshohet likes fashion and are are actually intelligent. Elena videos are brainless outfit of the day. They are stupid, embarrassing and definitely a choice that she is making over other, actually intelligent and helpful content.

IDK where you got 'dodadedo is Elena' from, given I said in my post that I'm literally a fucking English Lit PhD student, but go off I guess. I'd kill to be even half as put-together and organised as Elena seems on a day-to-day basis.

Hi Elena has actually been used as running joke on this forum, as it is on other Tattle threads about other people. I guess this tells me that you are not used to being on Tattle or go to other gossip pages often. Otherwise you would know that.

Why comment on someone's looks that a) they cannot change and b) has nothing to do with the content they're producing?

People can critique her like of designer brands etc etc, that's all fair game even though some people may not think it's valid but seriously commenting on a young girl's looks? Pretty low.



Look I'm not going to complain if someone has the money to be environmentally friendly rather than buy shitty fast fashion. If she's got the money, it's probably come from her youtube channel. She's made at least a couple of videos being concerned about scholarship/ financial aid money to be able to continue at Cambridge - that isn't the kind of content that someone who's rich/ has never had to worry about money would ever think of making imo

What is bogus about her is that she constantly tries to show herself as someone who came from nothing, etc. I think it is bogus that she harps on about how she came from a poor family, when it is obvious that she doesnt. That is the point. Not that she spends money or has money to buy designer clothing. It isn't easy to make money from youtube. you need a big following and I dont think that I dont think someone with a small following can make enough to buy so many designer things. Scholarships and financial aid dont give people extra designer fashion spending money unless she is misusing it.

Back to Elena, I think it is pretty much confirmed now that she will study in Germany through her instagram.

Brw, does someone know what illness she's been diagnose with? I think it was a couple of weeks ago that she posted on stories that she was going to take a few days off social media to process her diagnose, but I've never got to see what she was exactly referring to and a few days ago in a Q&A she answered that one of the most important things for her was feeling healthy in spite of her health issues.

Yeah I think there are other lower profile ones out there who are decent, Astrid Franciszka (Paige's friend) comes to mind, but the common threads for all the likeable ones are: they're aware of their own privilege, they don't just study but get involved with other things and they're passionate about what they're learning (and this comes through in videos).

I also really like Nayna Florence and Moya Mawhinney - their content is good because whilst they're both uni students I wouldn't call them "studytubers" and their content doesn't revolve around studying in an intense way. Can't lie, their videos are also really aesthetically pleasing!
