This seems a huge amount! What currency??

NZD - sorry, I made a typo ... it's $1 - ONE - thousand, not ten! (I wish - yikes!)

For ovens, I charge $150; for ironing, it's $5 for a top or shirt, $10 for a jacket or lined dress/skirt/trousers (because I steam them and that takes forever); and for bed linens, etc., I tend to quote based on what's there. For super-regulars I might offer a discount.

I keep really good records and let my accountant work out the tax stuff.

I design cards and sell them on Thortful. I also use Vinted for selling clothes etc.

Anyone got any other ideas?

Hello you lovely lot, what's everyone doing in 2024 then to make some more money
