I'm pretty neutral toward Ruth, not a massive fan but doesn't really offend me in any significant way. Good luck to her. She does come across as a bit needy, but that's ok. He's 64 and so is she, not pensioners yet. Ill health can play a terrible toll on a person and in this area, I do feel sorry for Eamon and Ruth too. It can't have been easy.

As an aside, I don't view Ruth as vibrant, to me she is caught in a fashion time warp and her hair has been the same style for years. Also being on Loose women is hardly indicative of outgoing.

Although I am not of fan of Ruth, I did like it when she said once that she never shows up to Eamonn's kids sports day and the like.
She felt it was not her place, and that their mother (Eamonn's ex-wife) should attend with Eamonn.

Eamonn always seemed grumpy but a decent guy at heart unlike others at ITV.

Him and Ruth are the best ones on TM because they're legit journalists and can conduct professional interviews (again, unlike others at ITV particularly those on TM who are not journalists in any way, shape or form). Shame that ITV didn't recognise this and ditched them from Fridays. And they're actually genuine as well - what you see is what you get.

(as for the interview with Femi - without getting too political, he has 0 respect for democracy and is a general PITA who gives remainers a bad name so I don't blame Eamonn for his lack of patience with him).
