I bet she put up with a lot of tit. He really thinks he's someone. He's just a fatbastardcunt who has sat on a couch reading an autocue for 40 years. He really comes across as a toxic, whiney, witch boi. I bet his daily brand of negativity ground her down. No way she has made this decision lightly. I bet she hasn't had a good bag for years.
I'm pretty neutral toward Ruth, not a massive fan but doesn't really offend me in any significant way. Good luck to her. She does come across as a bit needy, but that's ok. I hope she's got a well-hung toyboy lined-up. She'll have to get in quick though, Vorderman hoovers most of them up and Garraway is on the prowl.
Sad they are splitting up, I liked them together. But you have to do what feels right, it is never worth staying in a relationship just to be miserable.
I can only comment and say how how I feel when I have met someone. I have met him and he was absolutely lovely to me. Ruth, not so, she was at the same event and came across as very snobby and condescending, only mixed with the people who mattered. My ex worked with him also, and said he was lovely.
Definitely his humour is an Northern Irish thing, and not really something English people would get.

I take you at face value. Nothing you say seems out of place. It's hard to say what went on behind closed-doors. TV personalities by their very nature are actors. I'm pretty sure you could name any number of unpleasant guys who presented as lovely, kind, people when meeting Joe Public, it's all part of the act.
Regarding his Northern Irish 'humour'. We also have a droll sense of humour in England. We get it. He's just a bleep. He got shuffled off ITV because he wouldn't tow the line, I kind of respect him for that. I'll give him that. He wasn't for all the Schofiend rit that the 'ITV Family' wanted to shove down everyones throats.

I also "get" his humour as I grew up in a family full of much older relatives/friends and it was the norm to me throughout my life. It is not really understood by younger generations, I have to watch myself who I bring that side of me out with. So I see what's happening when things people like Eamonn say are taken all wrong. I'm not, like, his biggest fan or anything but I don't think he's awful by any means and I do find myself laughing with him at times.
I think the Phillip Schofield/MM case had a bit to do with it.

I don’t think it would have helped matters, he will now be seen as a bit of a loose cannon even though he was in the right.
