My hair never holds a curl all day so I’m guessing it’s not for me? Which is a shame because if it did hold I’d probably buy one

I use dyson hairdryer and loreal steam pod.. love both items.. hair is not frizzy, lasts longer and alot more healthy. Brilliant investments imo

I wouldn’t recommend this if your hair doesn’t hold a curl. I have fine hair but a lot of it I tried mousse, blow dry lotion, lotta body spray, hairspray and nothing worked I ended up selling it on gumtree. The final straw was after watching YouTube tutorials and buying some new products I spent over an hour doing my hair sweat absolutely peeing out me and the curls had fallen out before I left the house! So annoying! I did love the round volume brush though that was amazing!
Should add I have naturally straight hair and bought it to give myself curly blow dry’s.

My natural hair is wavy/curly so I still have to straighten my hair after using it which I’m disappointed in. So just bare that in mind before purchasing.

Glad I read this - it’s a no from me because my hair doesn’t hold curls well either

If youre unsure QVC offers payment in installments so if you dont like it you can easily send it back. I toy with getting one all the time but unsure if I would use it enough.

Took me a couple of weeks to really practice and perfect using it and now I absolutely love the results, my hair is naturally quite frizzy so I do have to take my time making sure I section it properly etc but it’s never looked so good! Definitely worth the money.

I had it for 6 months so definitely tried but there was nothing that worked! I’m getting the babyliss keratin hot styler because it looks very similar to the dyson round brush attachment and I’m going to try the curl luxe for my waves 🤞🏻

That's such a shame! My hair is the same type as yours and also naturally straight so I don't think it would work either, and it never lasts when my hairdresser styles it so not much hope for my own skills. I think I might just upgrade my hairdryer and straighteners for half the price.

I know I was so disappointed. I bought the one for long hair which is a little more expensive but I thought it would be best as my hair is mid length just below my shoulders. This fitted my hair perfect I probably would have had to send the standard one back unless I wrapped the hair round itself on the small barrels. Luckily I got most of my money back though only ended up £60 out of pocket

For those saying it’s good if your hair holds a curl - I have extensions (not now bc of Covid 💔) but my extensions hold curls however my hair before them not so well so do you think it would work for me? X

I got one for my birthday in October, I got the complete set so it has all the detatchable heads. It's amazing! I find it makes my hair feel SO much smoother than my GHD hairdryer does when I just use it on the dryer attachment. I also like the round brush attachment for a bit of volume. as other's have said, if your hair doesn't hold a curl you may not like it so much. It took a few days of getting used to with the curling attachments but once you've got the hang of it it's great

If you plan to have your extensions back in it would work as they would help to hold a curl. Otherwise I would skip it and save yourself the money xxxx

I have the hairdryer and I really like it, aside from obviously it taking half the time to dry my hair, i feel its been much better for my hair too in general.

I was looking into the GHD hairdryer (helios) as an alternative for blow drying. My hair doesn't hold curls well so I've come to the conclusion it probably wouldn't be right for me 🙁 What do you think of the GHD hairdryer?

I love my ghd hairdryer.

If I use a cheap hair dryer I look like hagrid! But the GHD one makes my hair a lot straighter and smoother

Girls I can honestly say, for someone who has long fine thick hair that wouldn’t usually hold a curl, this is a godsend. It does take some time to get used to but once you get there you won’t go back. If you want the tighter curl that a ghd would give the 20mm barrel is the best. You look crazy in the beginning but it’s SO important to cool your hair down with the setting and leave the hair set for a good 30 minutes or longer before sweeping through with your hands or brush. Also, as someone previously said, it’s down to product too. You can’t use conditioner often as it simply won’t hold a curl, but I swear by the L’Oréal tecni art pli spray. I’d get a good 4 days with this and the dyson! Also I’ve found that if you leave your hair slightly more damp and literally only dry your roots that the curls hold way better. I was so skeptical but genuinely a good purchase for me.

I do like the GHD hairdryer, it made my hair feel really nice and smooth when I first started using it.

I have cloud 9 straighteners, fancy curlers and a nice hairdryer and I don't really used them. I need something faff free and easy to use. The straighteners and curlers are just too much effort. I was hoping dyson air wrap could help me with easy routine that doesn't take too much effort. My hair holds curl well. Do you guys think it would work for me? I have wavy hair.
