At the risk of this being an unpopular opinion, Dylan doesn’t actually bother me. I think her intentions are genuine. What bothers me is what her perception of a woman (“girl”) is but I think she’s just trying to live out a kind of childhood that she wasn’t able to. Either way, I just think she needs a little psychological guidance.

Jeffrey Marsh on the other hand is a dodgy scum bag and definitely has some sinister intentions.

Finally, I don’t know why more people don’t get angry with the tampon companies who gave these people the deals. They’re as much at fault as anyone.
What kind of “childhood” is he living out? He is pornified, his clothing choices switch between 1950s housewife and a bimbo. It doesn’t resemble the childhood or teenagehood of any girl I know. He’s living out a perverted male fantasy of what he imagines it’s like to be a young girl. It’s vile. He also has a lot of malice for women who disagree with him and doesn’t respect boundaries. You can tell really bothers him that women places like here and on Twitter see through his act. He’s a misogynist, regardless of what his intentions are.

Agreed about Jeffrey marsh though. He is just a groomer

There was a woman a few years ago who caused a bit of a media stir by going on about how she was so unbelievably beautiful that all other women were jealous of her. Her name was Samantha Brick and the response she got was predictably not very favourable, both because she was a singularly average looking woman and because she was incredibly vain and arrogant and had a dreadful personality.
Dylan, of course, will not get anything like the same response because he’s wearing the magical sparkly trans armour which deflects all criticism.

I don't really like Dylan but it doesn't reflect on my appreciation of the journey of transgender people, same way I was an awful driver I wouldn't want everyone to try and ban all women from the road.
From someone “within the community” (I’m a lesbian but feel zero solidarity with so called trans women) you might be interested to know that a huge portion, possibly even most of the gender critical movement are members of the LGBT community. We see how this ideology is used to turn masculine girls into straight men and feminine boys into straight women. We witness trans women first hand using their male dominance to invade lesbian spaces. We hear their regressive ideas around gender stereotypes and their total delusion when it comes to basic concepts like attraction and human sexuality. Stick your “be kind” and your “transgender journey” crap up your a***, we have these opinions because we know how awful this ideology is and have taken the time to educate ourselves. Please check out the gender thread on here, or read some work by feminists on the issue.

I wonder when society became so obsessed with squishing people into gender boxes? When I think back to being a late teen in the late 90s LOADS of the guys in my friendship groups wore makeup, fluffy jumpers, ridiculous boots that made you 6" taller. It was quite normal. Not a single one of them ever suggested they were a girl and nor did anyone else? Most of them were straight men. They just wore what they pleased. Likewise the young women lived in combats and DMs (still with the loads of eyeliner) they weren't told that these choices were too manly for women...

I disagree with the poster above, men can be pretty and women can be handsome. It's just the way your face is made. Pretty men, slender men, men with small hands and feet, men who like pink and delicate fabrics, men who like fucking men... they're all still men. Who decided that these things must make them women? At what point in the last 25 years did these gender stereotypes become so all pervasive?? The only thing that defines whether you are male or female is your chromosomes. Lego is still lego if you put it in a biscuit tin *sigh*

My daughter has a friend who is a trans woman in her 20s. She told me that her friend always hated being born a man and now lives totally as a woman. So not an on/off like Izzard.

According to her 'trans rights' are about people like her friend having access to HRT and treatment on the NHS. My daughters friend currently has to buy her own HRT online.

While I do feel a bit sorry for her friend, do we think that this should be available free or not 🤔

Years ago the NHS used to do some cosmetic surgery for free (like nose jobs) but I don't know if this is still the case or not.
While there is a HRT shortage I don't feel sorry for them at all.

Women who suffer with the menopause should get it first. Not men charading as a woman.

ETA they do get treatment on the NHS just not to the extent or speed at which they want it. If TRAs had their way they would be the first priority of the NHS ahead of cancer etc. They don't get the concept of waiting lists and to them their treatment is as life important as cancer treatment because they will kill themselves if they don't get it when they ask for it.

Further edit. They won't actually kill themselves. They will just threaten it to get what they want

I think these issues come with varying degrees of context and I don't think one case of someone's transgender identity should reflect on everyones but a lot of what is being posted here doesn't feel very reflective of facts. I've only known one transgender person and they came to the realisation at 50 years of age but this whole 'agenda' idea that people want to 'mutilate' young people is absurd.

I respect everyone is allowed have their opinions and since I don't fall in the LGBT community I can't talk for anyone in it but it just feels like a lot of people in this thread just don't like transgender people and could benefit by actually talking to some about their experiences of dysphoria and the humanity of it. This all feels very THEY'RE COMING TO TAKE OUR CHILDREN!

If people in here quote people like Matt Walsh and push his rhetoric and films you've already lost on human decency alone. The man says that children who are r**ed by their father should be forced to bring the child to term.
We've already discussed these issues endlessly on the gender thread. Perhaps you should learn what's really going on before denouncing people who have concerns about children being given drugs that will have irreversible effects on them.
That's called child abuse.

Dylan is a poser desperate for attention from weak minded people who think it's acceptable for him to portray womanhood as being afraid of bugs, crying and wearing high heels. It's gross misogyny.

I’m sorry but please tell me what “living as a girl” entails? He thinks it’s putting on cute clothing, doing your hair, acting overly feminine makes him a “girl”? Plus why he says girl and not woman when he’s clearly an adult just comes across as creepy. Hope he realises that being female is more than just playing to stereotypes, every woman is different, dresses differently, behaves differently. And I won’t even start on the feminine issues we have to deal with on a monthly basis.
Edit: I’d also heard on a previous thread that Tampax had used him as a spokesperson or influencer whatever, I dont know how true that is?
It seems to be exactly that, putting on women's clothes and wearing make up because that's what he thinks 'girlhood' is, just a bloody stereotype.

Eddie Izzard talks about being in 'girl mode' as well when he's a 60 year old man!

I'm so sick of this shit and worst of all if I expressed these views at work I'd probably be in trouble.

How did we end up with this crap being forced on us? Noticeably it's all happened under a tory government as well and the tories are the only party not signed up for bringing in 'gender self ID'🤔

It's only going to get worse if the Labour Party assumes power after the next general election. It will then become unlawful for us to challenge men thinking that they're women.

Don’t think there’s a thread on Dylan yet - but it’s about time the account was discussed as the last few weeks they’ve created quite the furore getting gigs at the Forbes Power Women’s Summit, discussing womanhood on a podcast with another biological male and getting an audience with President Biden despite only being in a debatable ‘transition’ for just over 200 days…

Oh no Dylan, why? You know, I think her face was absolutely fine as it was before. I think, despite her strong jaw, she actually did look quite feminine. I really don't think she needed this surgery.

I think we can safely say that this isn't a joke anymore. I know some people believe she's just acting and making a mockery of the trans community but she clearly isn't.

I'm intrigued to see what she looks like. What a shame. She looked great, shame she can't see it.

This isn't a rave post (although it sounds like one).
instead of using she/her for dylan, you can just tell every woman to go fuck herself 💗

I assume I’ll get banned from this thread for this which is fine. So: WOW a whole thread full of TERFS. Truly incredible, I feel sorry for all of you. Dylan is incredible and much more kind hearted than any of you could hope to be in your current state of thinking.
You lost hun?

No not all for clout. That she is genuine in her dysphoria, has much more of a subdued personality or a different one socially and creates a character for the videos. Someone can still be really trans and also create heightened version of themselves for content.

He's a dangerous cunt who is pretending to be a girl. If he's got genuine gender dysphoria, I'm richer than Elon Musk. What on God's earth does he know what it's like to be a woman? To have a period? To walk alone in the dark and be scared? To get paid less for being female? Absolutely NOTHING. Stop facilitating his fantasy.

He has an incessant need to make money using outdated sexist stereotypes. I detest him.
My guess is that he saw people being praised for being trans or non binary. He dipped his toes in the non binary stuff to see how people would react. It worked. Then he thought being trans would bring him more money etc. It has worked…
This guy has become rich just by wearing dresses and makeup acting like a stupid stereotype. He met the American president. Hr took part in a womens summit.
He has been a “girl” for less than a year and he has access to things that hard working women who are really involved in helping other women will never have.
This bloody make is stepping on women.

Tattle is ultimately a gossip site, and it’s not really in the spirit of things to repeatedly post on a thread in such a way that people have to defend their opinions because someone implies they are being mean because of his ‘gender identity’. There is a rave section, people who are fans of an influencer or a celebrity can start a thread in there if they feel so inclined.
The truth is that none of us actually care what he’s like when the camera is off. It’s the damage he’s doing when it’s on that’s the problem.

The NHS is a shambles. People are waiting months or years for actual medical treatment so forgive me if I don’t care if some bloke gets his hormones to grow some A-cup moobs. Transgender treatment is cosmetic and used to treat mental illness so it absolutely should not be available on the NHS. I wouldn’t support people with body dysmorphia or anorexia being offered liposuction on the NHS so why would I support those with gender dysphoria being offered similar treatments?

Dylan managed to buy their new face from the Days of Girlhood. No way could they have for all that surgery beforehand.

---

5 o’clock shadow, isn’t there a way to permanently get rid of this? Like burning the hair follicles or something ridiculous?

Without filter.

They just look like a 45 year old sex worker working the curb for clients. Such a bAnd ad look.
Modelling clothes now 🙄
---

Oh and a general rant (not to anyone specific here, but because so many in media are saying she): it's HIS. It's "his" and "him". If we can acknowledge he has a d"""" then why keep up pretence of the "she" pronoun 🙄

Let's not perpetuate the mental gymnastics! He is a bloke, dressing up like a female influencer stereotype, he has a five oclock shadow, adams apple and a bulge. No "her" about it. I choose not to lie about what I see. Mother nature doesn't lie. Lying and delusion helps noone in the long run. Calling narcissists like Dylan "she" is just perpetuating this sick delusion.

He is a man who has harmed himself and in turn is harming followers who think it is ok to undergo such procedures and behaviours in order to obtain the unattainable.

It's sad to see this escalate in society at such an alarming rate. There will be casualties.

Oh dear. If you don’t want to read and engage on the gender discussion thread why should anyone bother to explain it to you here?

By the way, you don’t need dysphoria to be trans and it’s considered transphobic to assume you do.

And a woman is an adult human female. There is no “idea of womanhood” beyond that.

Perhaps people, mostly women, would feel less inclined to be all ‘won’t someone think of the children’ if so much of this stuff wasn’t directed steadfastly towards vulnerable and impressionable children. The vast majority of Mulvaney’s fans are children on TikTok for a start.
I couldn’t give a shiny shit about anyone’s 50 year old friend suddenly discovering they are ‘trans’ but if that person starts dressing like a toddler or trying to get into spaces where there are children or vulnerable women then I’m going to be suspicious because it’s suspicious behaviour.
If we are all way off the mark I’d be interested to know why NHS England commissioned Dr Hilary Cass to look into the practices of the Tavistock Centre and why she came to the conclusion that ‘The Tavistock gender clinic is “not a safe or viable long-term” option for young people and children’.

It’s like that Tom Daly bloke and his knitting. A man does a thing that women have been doing for ages (and often been mocked for and been told it’s trivial or stupid) and all of a sudden praise gets heaped upon them and it’s like they are the second coming of Christ. Man wears make up and frilly clothing - empowering their authentic feminine side, woman wears it, silly and boring and predictable. Throw money at the man.
