No not all for clout. That she is genuine in her dysphoria, has much more of a subdued personality or a different one socially and creates a character for the videos. Someone can still be really trans and also create heightened version of themselves for content.

I think where I stand with it is that I have a lot of sympathy for people who feel like they were born in the wrong body, and as long as they aren’t providing harm to others, live and let live. The issue here is that Dylan is really making a mockery of womanhood, and it’s icky. The use of girlhood in itself, the tacky stereotyping, the stratospheric rise without it seems any of the hardships. Womanhood isn’t an act.
Tattle is ultimately a gossip site, and it’s not really in the spirit of things to repeatedly post on a thread in such a way that people have to defend their opinions because someone implies they are being mean because of his ‘gender identity’. There is a rave section, people who are fans of an influencer or a celebrity can start a thread in there if they feel so inclined.

I find this quite naive, given that most trans identifying males don’t even have any dysphoria, and Dylan really makes no effort to hide his male attributes in a way that suggests he is uncomfortable with them - he dresses in skimpy clothes showing off his very male frame, has a 5 o clock shadow, and constantly draws attention to his pen (“girls with bulges” anyone??).

And even if Dylan is just a “character” as it has been suggested, his rise to fame, the opportunities he’s been offered in that short time, and his popularity among both women and trans identified people is horrifying and worth discussing. To me, it shows just how big this issue is and how much work women have to do to fight against this type of ideology

thing is undoing years of safeguarding training. It’s telling young girls not to tell a grown up if someone flashes their pen cos they’ll think ‘but maybe he’s a girl’.
