Mary Lou must be panicking about her position though. It isn’t just them but I think a lot of political parties in UK and Ireland have made the mistake of telling the people what they should think instead of listening to what the people actually think. Its happened overseas too. The coolock thing should never have got to this stage but I’ve seen ones online complaining about the far right- these just look like average locals and it seems like no one asked their opinion on anything before hand.It’s all leading to sectarian politics at least ours was two sides of the same coin don’t know how they plan on solving the Middle East crisis from UK/ Eire

Mainly because the Irish gov don’t really have a say it’s the EU policy that all member states do their bit , it seems people are still under the impression Ireland is a republic…I think a lot of politicians are only waking up to the reality of what they’re signatories to.
