“Northern Ireland needs immigrants to get into politics for the sake of progress,” she says. “They have no Northern Ireland political baggage ... we are thinking about how we address the real issues, the bread-and-butter issues.”

Yeah, really sorry for having “political baggage” of having relatives blown up by bombs or being beaten up by the RUC or interned or traumatised . Is she taking the fucking piss.

Denmark opted out. We had a choice. Our TDs are working directly for Brussels. We will be obliged to take an unfair proportion cause it goes by our GDP which is artificially inflated by multi nationals. We are fucked. An to be honest, most people didn't bother their holes voting. I'm sad to say, there are fuck all fighting Irish men.

A narc of the highest order…Hasn’t addressed his own bias against asylum seekers 🙃..He said one of them spoke to him in Urdu no mention of it there 🙄 it’s so obvious ,he’s an embarrassment.
It seems like he is pretending he is anti-immigration to try to get votes. He just seems to be making it up as he goes along. If he said he was pro immigration I wouldn’t care but he seems to be saying whatever he thinks the electorate want to hear.

Didn’t realise he owned meat factories. Knew he had a business as I think someone said before but didn’t realise it was this. But yeah I would say when people are being housed in D4 then perhaps it would be reasonable but they seem to only set these places up where poor people live. Theres that other guy that is the millionaire who calls everyone racist too that makes a good bit of money off these camps, paddy something.,

It’s all leading to sectarian politics at least ours was two sides of the same coin don’t know how they plan on solving the Middle East crisis from UK/ Eire🤷🏼‍♀️

Got them on the run then !
Mary Lou must be panicking about her position though. It isn’t just them but I think a lot of political parties in UK and Ireland have made the mistake of telling the people what they should think instead of listening to what the people actually think. Its happened overseas too. The coolock thing should never have got to this stage but I’ve seen ones online complaining about the far right- these just look like average locals and it seems like no one asked their opinion on anything before hand.

Yeah I can’t understand that ! Guess it’s better paid running an NGO ?? Was given a council house when she arrived and a place in a SEN school for her son, both like hens teeth in this jurisdiction.

It’s like she’s trying to entwine our civil rights movement with BLM .

I know wee Sammy’s a c@nt but I’ve never known the PSNI to go around targeting and killing black people ? We’re not that diverse.
Yeah. The only recent comparable is perhaps the Noah Donohoe thing where we are assuming there was no investigation (and we won’t really know until the inquest) but I don’t believe race was a factor for the PSNI. I think they just initially misjudged a teenage boy out and assumed he would be back home but then whatever happened after they were probs too late to stop. I think it was more incompetence. I do think we have enough issues historically with police that we don’t need to project American issues which historically haven’t been a factor here, obviously there probably have been issues with racism but not in the same way as in America and I don’t think it is helpful to act like it is the same thing.

I’m halfway through that article and speechless, not only has she managed to insult people north and south but to deny people in the north their experiences is something else, divided we stand but I’ve never heard any ordinary citizen from either side dismiss , minimise or deny the other their hurt / feelings 😑 she’s using the people of Derry as a stepping stone, the narcissism is prevalent throughout as is the lies…The rumours clearly true if she was with her present husband fourteen yrs ago( the minute she landed) why wasn’t her brother seeking asylum if he was working with her on the humanitarian projects?? She left her son behind and came here on holiday before deciding to seek asylum,he seemed to be fine for 10 yrs in Kenya without any problems ! I’ve never met a shinner that would approach anyone and call them comrade 😂 never mind an African woman , she’s a compulsive liar looking to use the good natured Irish to further her own political career and BLM racist agenda…She’s not an Irish Catholic and never will be.

You can’t beat the Irish wit 😂
Aye, I couldn’t believe it was a real article. Can you imagine her going down the bog side and telling the Bloody Sunday families they need her to sort things out. I don’t believe the John Hume meeting for a second.

In NI warning messages from paramilitaries. They pretty much run our communities.
That’s bad. I have no issue with multiculturalism. But I don’t see how people can get on a plane and ‘lose’ their passports and it be taken at face value, Lillian also who went on holiday here but suddenly needed asylum even though she comes from a wealthy political family.

This apparently! Why would he approach children and not an adult? If they called the guards it proves there was a concern for welfare .I’d do the very same if I saw anyone (regardless of nationality )loitering outside a school and approaching children.
Surely you would go into a shop and ask for help to contact a family member and not just randoms either adults or kids on the street. Sounds like it has just been accepted at face value.

Ew, does he have to poke his nose into everything, so creepy.
I find it really provocative and trollish the way he calls himself Irish. He isn't Irish by heritage or birth or upbringing, he just moved here to live. Imagine me moving to Pakistan and calling myself Pakistani, just absurd.

He's trolling people, saying Ireland isn't a Catholic country. I'm not a believer but Catholicism/Christianity is still woven into our culture and history in ways he can't fathom because he's historically ignorant, uneducated and uninterested in us as anything more than a resource to be exploited. People like him and race grifter Ebun Joseph are getting more and more blatant in their disrespect and contempt for the country which was so generous to them. I find it really worrying to be honest.

Yes. I'm getting fed up of all these protests. I mean, I am sympathetic to Palestine. But tbh, my own country is in shite. We should be concentrating on that.

Blatant lies! I’m sure she’d have been pushing that story in her local election campaign a few yrs ago 🙄 you’ll notice there was no racism mentioned for him singling out a black woman to ask where she was from unlike the queens lady in waiting 😉 complete fabrication to make herself relevant…Shouting she’s a nationalist is going to piss off half the people in the district that identify as Unionist, I’ve said before these people will set us back years because they’ve no understanding of what we’re about, reading is immaterial.
That woman who had the run in with the Queen’s lady in waiting got exposed as a grifter I think by the same guy who was looking into Jack monroe and that Depher guy. I did find that story to be a massive overreaction to an elderly woman saying the wrong thing. It seemed like a bit of a set up.

More platforming of how he wants to educate the Irish people to be better people ,to accept diversity and make the island like it once was ,all by pointing out how terrible they are, racist and hateful bigots …Maybe he’d be better focusing on making his home country all of those things then people wouldn’t feel the need to come to ours and lecture us on how terrible we are 🤷🏼‍♀️ seems reasonable to me!

Dodgy AF. Bit like the Afghan guy in the park who was reported for having a knife. He told the guards he was using it to cut fruit. Ireland has these undocumented men roaming around everywhere and the usual grifters accuse us of racism when we express concern.

The fucking entitlement of being given 3 free meals a day and a roof over your head but complaining that if you don’t show up for lunch you don’t get lunch.

---
I actually agree that they should have the right to work. But on the same playing field as everyone else so if you work then you have to pay your own rent and meals etc.

The type of work they’d need to support themselves would require a certain level of education/ qualifications, the reason they’re stuck in DP is most of them don’t possess that. The Polish are ending up on the streets because they can’t afford Dublin rents there’s a charity helping them to return home after yrs of living here.

More intrigue surrounding funding/ extremism coming out. They’ve opened the school/ nursery but with tight security arrangements only the pupils and staff allowed through the gates, Gardai standing guard outside along with their own security personnel 🤷🏼‍♀️ should it not be the citizens of Ireland they’re protecting if there’s 50,000 radical extremists running round 🙄
