I saw this . . I don't agree with this doctor either .they are all influencing without informing. His logic for vaccinating his kids doesn't hold up either. . He doesn't inform of Pros and cons. .
I just disagree with social media as a way to influence people with medical care for their kids. .
Vaccination should be an informed choice, not influenced choice . Influence works both ways.
As I said, one is as bad as the next when it comes to social media medics.

Where is this insta live? She really is am absolute fraud to throw out her opinion about not vaccinating her children at this point and then use it as a marketing opportunity for her insta page. There is something very weird about her..I don't think I even need to mention it...it's been well vocalised on this thread before

Hard disagree there. IMO shes works harder than any other doctor with a profile on insta and speaks more intelligently than the rest ever could

I feel like I know her through Instagram. She deserves praise. She has worked so hard. Days and days on end. . Often looks tired in her selfies after sometimes over 10 days in a row at work, . She still keeps going. She talks so fondly in her anecdotes of her patients, be they elderly.. drug addicts, homeless etc.. . . She saves up and buys herself nice dresses. She works very hard and saves for them unlike many other insta women. .
She is hilarious , extremely witty.
I am a huge fan. I could go on.

I feel like I know her too.. She's a dote and I find myself worried about her sometimes.. All those long shifts she does and she is clearly so compassionate about her job, but doesn't let it completely define her... I've learned so much about fashion, pop culture, Tay tay and her side job of emergency medicine from her account.. Noone better come for our Dr hilz..

I was just coming here to post that same screen shot! Yes Lisa is a doctor but I also get the feeling she has a massive ego and is used to always being right - but she's wrong in this instance.

Don’t believe all you see on Instagram. It’s a very false world where anyone can pretend to be anyone.

Yes! She ignored relevant data and facts because they didn’t suit her viewpoint, to be honest none of us know what this virus will do, in the beginning kids weren’t really getting it and schools were closed to protect everyone now kids most definitely are getting it side effects and serious illness are not common but do exist. PIMS affects 1 in 3000 not exactly rare.
It also bugged me that the first day she said she wouldn’t be vaccinating her children but when she later decided she had time to explain her bombshell it was “yet” not “won’t” knowing full well she is in the influencer world with all due respect A&E don’t see the long term effects of an illness. I fully appreciate she has her qualifications that she has worked hard for but this is not her field of expertise and as such she should have kept her personal opinion off a public forum. I really think she did it for engagement.

Either way they need to influence with there Dr hat not there mammy hats there needs to be rules and regulations to theses dr influenceing on Instagram because heaven above if someone loses there child and then they say X said in Instagram it wasn't safe how could you live with your preaching in Instagram but as parents we need to make descions on what's right.

i think shes gone from bad to worse .. i would hate to land to castlebar hospital and see this one shel probably be upselling her injections there too.

Male or female anyone with kids i believe they should come first... but not here career comes before everything else!

Any parent/person who can leave behind a job, their kids and spouse for over a year probably doesnt care and is happy to "babysit" their own kids a few hours a month

Don't forget she is involved with Mayo ladies football team and she is also involved in a management / organisational capacity with the Order of Malta at local and National levels I think.
