He is looking more and more haggard everytime he pops up on my tiktok, looks like he’s found his niche campaigning for ADHD 🙄

So it’s ADHD then OCD now autism. What else can he invent to try and keep relevant. I think everyone bored with him pontificating about being alcohol free 🙄

To be fair, OCD and autism have a big overlap- they have one of the highest co morbidities, especially when late diagnosed. Some research is starting to say it’s just a manifestation of the autism. I was surprised by his adhd diagnosis because I’ve always assumed he was autistic.

That being said I find it odd he’s schilling a book called “am I normal?” When he’s still not sure what’s going on with himself. And that he’s taking us all through his autism assessment journey as though they’re all the same and the nhs waiting lists aren’t 7 years long and still designed more for children. Being able to go private is a real privilege in terms of time and the experience itself.

Spends all his time talking about himself, writing about himself, promoting himself…

“why is my ocd so bad”

He is a medicalised version of Narcissus, stuck staring at his own reflection.

He's now also stopping his podcast.... I wonder what the next big thing will be

Continuing to focus on the only thing that is important to him - himself!!
I can’t believe he’s not spending Xmas with his parents. He could suck it up for one day then fly off wherever. His poor mother always looks broken.

He's still not said anything about the outcome of his autism assessment. Just some vague posts about taking his time with it. It feels like either a strategy to get as much engagement as possible, or the outcome wasn't what he'd expected.

Also disappointing to see him doing ads for collagen, given the lack of scientific backing for the claims people make about it.

(Long story short, if anyone's interested: collagen is a protein and the body will treat it as such. You can't direct how the body uses it, and you're extremely likely to see more benefits taking 3-5g of creatine every day instead)

I was thinking this. Made a big deal of it to then not want to share it. Yes it's his right and about him but if he wants time after I think why keep on about it before? He could have just talked about it all when he was ready and not mentioned the assessment. So think it must be for the engagement or maybe he doesn't have it and he doesn't want to put that? I dont know but his whole thing now seems to be about being neurodiverse and for people like him and but the way he's going about it doesn't sit right. Not sure if I've explained myself well.

I am tempted to screenshot your quote on collagen as reminder of what to say when I get the weekly “I’ve started collagen” or “ have you tried collagen?” (And also to remind myself to go buy some creatine that I was advised to do over a year ago by a PT)

But for Alex I’m going to guess that he’s in the post diagnosis existential crisis. Purely because I’ve just been through diagnosis myself, I was expecting that I would get diagnosed and that I’d feel relief or something but then for like 3 weeks after was an absolute mess of a human. No one really talks about it publicly because it’s not the nice quirky and aesthetic side of autism. But should probably serve as a harsh reminder that when you go on social media pretending to be a super expert and documenting in real time you’re going to get humbled.

It could also be this. I went through diagnosis too, a few months ago, and I know everyone processes it in their own way (personally, I felt relief at the time, but am now processing so much stuff that I'm feeling like more of a mess now 😂). I also took my time disclosing my diagnosis to people, and am glad I didn't tell anyone about it before the assessment.

Good luck with your post-diagnostic journey. I try to think of it like rebuilding - you can't do that without knocking some stuff down and making a mess first. Or something ♥

Ha... It was my PT who finally convinced me about creatine 😆 plus all the other women in my fitness community. I take 5g a day, in unflavoured monohydrate powder form (mixed into my coffee ☕). Quite apart from anything else (although personally I'm sure my joints are less achey in the cold and I get less DOMS after a heavy workout) - unlike collagen powder, it doesn't cost a bloody fortune!

Oh just duck off with this shameless crap. First the collagen, now this. Also Richard Branson is in the Epstein files.
