Slut shaming is a bit far now. As someone said further up, there’s more than one side to a story. And we know nothing about this. We only know what Dominique is willing to put out. There’s probably way more to this that we’ll never know. People were hardly going to approach Dominique and say what a lovely girl (the girl he cheated with) is. This girl may or may not have slept with 100 married men before this. I’m not condoning what she did but we don’t know the circumstances. We don’t know if Damien pursued her or anything else for that matter. But at the end of the day, he ruined the relationship. Nobody else can break the trust in the relationship except for the 2 people in it. Honestly, my heart breaks for Dominique. But he’s the one in the wrong, he’s the one who was due to get married. People going about should she not have had respect for Dominique as a woman, how about we have respect for her as a woman! Damien is the one who is at fault here. He cheated. And we’ll never know the real reason why.

I am the one thinking and not ranting. I am pointing out facts mainly being that he was taken and had been in a long term relationship not her. I don't really understand why you are so upset about this. They are people i am guessing you don't know!
What the girl did is awful but so often in any situation (not just cheating) the woman is the one vilifed and the man gets away with murder.
But he is the one who was living his life with Dominique. He led her to believe he was committed to her. He went on trips with her, had dates, planned a wedding with her and let her think they had a future together. All the while he was cheating on her. In my eyes that is a million times worse!

Honestly, the word “slut” is tired and it has had its day. It’s used towards women who enjoy sexual encounters in a derogatory way and the man in the situation is never ever called a slut or made feel shame for the exact same sexual encounters and slut-shaming does us no favours, as women. Why is she the slut and he’s not?
She is a bad person in my opinion for pursuing the fella and if it’s true that she followed Dominique and knew he was getting married and carried on with no guilty conscience then she’s just a bleeping horrible person.

I have never heard of RamonaI’m sorry I’ve read just this thread from start To finish it’s awfully depressing and I feel so sorry for Dominique, but the Ramona comment has just made me roar
I understand why Dominique posted what she did. When I went through something similar I can’t even describe the emotions. I felt like I was possessed, the shock, the betrayal anger etc. I really felt like I was loosing my mind. Part of that was the fact the other woman got to carry on with her life after she had ruined mine.
She knew my ex was in a relationship and that didn’t stop her. He got some consequences eg breakup, his parents knowing & friends knowing etc ... But she got to continue on. I think that’s what angers me in Dominiques situation. Damien is a vile person and he can be judged and ridiculed. But his bit on the side doesn’t have any of that and continues to do it to other women. Yes it’s the men she goes off with fault - but she is not an innocent party and should have some morals and imo some consequences to her actions.

They’re both rum of the earth. They both knew what they were doing and the hurt and destruction it would likely cause. And I guarantee they’ll both move on with their lives quicker than Dominique, a betrayal like that never really leaves you.
I actually can’t get my head around people saying the girl isn’t partly to blame. SHAKE YOURSELVES. She knew he was in a relationship would be a totally different story if she didn’t know and he was spoofing they ears of her but that wasn’t the case, I tell you something if it was my fella the both of them would be kicked around. I wouldn’t like anyone to do it on me so I most certainly wouldn’t do it on someone else.

Did you actually read the comments. I have seen no one say she isnt to blame. What most of us are saying is that he has to shoulder more of the blame as he was the one who was engaged and he was the one who cheated on his partner.
