I don’t have a dog how ever my brother has a pug. I remember stopping over for the night after getting very drunk at his Christmas party 🥴 woke up early hours to his dog asleep on the pillow right above my head. I’ve never heard a dog snore so loud before 😂

One dog right now is sleeping on the pillows behind my head the other two are on the floor one at the side of the bed the other at the bottom. They are allowed anywhere they want, sleep wherever they want. The two on the floor don't bother going on the bed but do go on the sofa from time to time when I'm not home. Two of the dogs are rescue dogs so they can do whatever they want to do for comfort. All you need is a damn good Hoover because all three shed like crazy!!

I’m so glad my dog doesn’t shed...I mean his fur is an absolute pain to brush and clip but not shedding makes up for it 😂 x

I have that too, I only have carpet on the stairs and landing. Also the soles of your trainers is very good put them on your hands. Rubber gloves are good for clothes

Eww no. My dog has his bed, a basket downstairs. He occasionally is allowed on the sofa but lies on a padded blanket. He's a sausage dog so isn't allowed to jump in and off sofas and isn't allowed upstairs. I couldn't deal with dog hairs or dirt in our bed. My dog is very much part of our family and we adore him and he's never without cuddles.

I can't even begin with letting dogs lick faces and plates 🤢

I do but we don't let our dog eat human food (he rarely gets some meat from the roast) and he licks his a so I'm not a fan of him licking anything. Same with my cats. They have their plates, we have ours. It turns my stomach the thought of it.

I have a Bernese mountain dog and from day one he’s known he’s not allowed on the sofa or even upstairs. Dogs need boundaries - even if they do make the best cuddle buddies 😭

I have a mini Dachshund and she sleeps in a crate at the end of our bed, its got lovely fluffy blankets and bed inside and got a blanket covering the roof and sides so she just loves to burrow into it at night with a couple of treats. I dont ever close her into it either she goes in at her own choice and can come out when she wants. When we initially had her she slept in our kitchen but she hates her own company and used to howl every night so she is loving life being able to be in our bedroom but have her own space too. I would be too afraid of her with us during the night as if we rolled on her she would suffocate. But during the day she takes herself upstairs and will either go into her crate or lie at the bottom of our bed and stare out the window. In the evenings she sits on top of me on the sofa, being beside me isnt enough :)
She doesnt moult but even if she did I wouldn't care - I was raised with long hair German Sherpherds and they moulted a lot so I am well used to that situation.
My dog is my baby though, I absolutely adore her, potientially more than my partner at times!

Our dog is definitely our furbaby! The love, loyalty and friendship we get is worth the extra bit of time to hoover up hairs or wash a couch throw. Their lives are short and I'll do whatever I can to make it comfortable. The dog was by my side when I had the worst moments of my life so if he wants to cuddle on the sofa he can.

Due to the constant saliva produced a dogs tongue is actually pretty sterile :)
