I was just wondering if all you dog owners let your dogs lie on your bed/sofa etc? personally I cant stand to see it esp in beds .

My nan shares her bed with her dog. Hes like her baby but shes killing him with kindness tbh. I have a dog, she drives me mad but wouldnt ever get rid of her or want any harm to come to her. I dont let her on the sofa or my bed, cant stand it. My husband however 🤬

I don't share anything with my dog. I rarely let her go on the furnature either. She is a Shar Pei and let me tell you, this particular breed leaves snail trails everywhere with their slobber and they do have a specific odour as well as shedding hairs which feel like cactus needles... so NO. She also farts like an adult man and snores like a chainsaw, so again NO.

However when my late Bishon Frise was alive, she slept in my bed and was allowed anywhere.

My dog is allowed wherever she wants in the house. She used to sleep on my bed but now my daughter likes her on her bed. Shes only small if she was a big dog I wouldn't allow it

My sofa is my dogs bed. Even though we bought him a very expensive actual dog bed. He is allowed on the hooman beds but he rarely sleeps with us.

No, I live in a small flat and the dog isn't allowed on the bed. I need one place to be hair free! He's allowed on the sofa if he wants as it's leather but he rarely does.

I don’t allow my dog on the sofa or the bed, but she’s very clever and waits for me to fall asleep then jumps up on the bed 😂

My dogs sleep on my bed. I used to live on my own and was always quite scared at night. I never felt alone when they were with me and it just carried on. I couldn’t be without them on the bed now. I now have a fiancé and a baby. The baby sleeps in his own cot, we don’t cosleep so that was never an issue. My OH wasn’t impressed when we first got together. But he wouldn’t be without them on the end of the bed now. They are small and medium. Luckily we have a large bed so there is plenty of room.

My dog used to be attached to my bed at night. She wouldn't sleep anywhere else. But we moved last year and now she sleeps on my oldest's bed with him at night because she's scared of the loft bedroom where my husband and I sleep.

Thankfully my oldest is happy to have her and I'm glad to have the bed space back 😂 He just lays her blanket over the bed at night for her to sleep on.

My dog sleeps wherever he wants to! That so happens to be on our bed and we love it! There’s nowhere he can’t go, no where he can’t lay! He’s not simply a ‘pet’, he’s a family member!

We have a beagle and he isn't allowed upstairs. Definitely no sleeping on our beds. He has his own lovely bed and to be honest he puts himself to bed at half 9 most nights 🤣 trained like my kids 🤣

I think there are two types of owners: people who have “dogs”, and people who have “fur-babies.” Definitely the latter...Ours are allowed everywhere, they’re the children we’ll never get to have.

Nope and nope. We bought expensive furniture prior to having a dog and don't want it to smell or get his hairs engrained in the material. We have hardwood on the main floor and a few area rugs, he knows not to walk on the rugs. He is not allowed upstairs on the carpet either. He is a Frenchie but sheds a lot.
He has a lot of beds around the house so doesn't seem to mind or know any different. Although in our basement we have a cheap sofa which if we are watching tv down there or I am using the gym he can go on it. Also, because he's a Frenchie we wipe his bum with baby wipes as they're too short to clean it themselves...if you have a Frenchie and don't do that, I highly recommend that you start 🤢. We will probably do that with any dog we get now after seeing what comes off him 🤢😂

My dog is allowed everywhere. He is family. He does sleep at night on the landing in his bed. Outside our room. He can sleep on our bed in the day if he wants. People forget that dogs have baths and flea treatments that cover them monthly. There is no harm. It does depend on owners and their dogs. My dog is really loving. He wants cuddles and love. I can't ban him from anywhere. He can't sleep in my bed at night for fear of my husband squashing him:ROFLMAO: He doesn't sleep in our room. because he would just jump out of his bed and in ours. Only safety reasons he sleeps next to our room. My neighbours dog sleeps in the garden. I hear him crying all the time. Just breaks my heart. They have him as a guard dog. My dog is my baby
