Does anyone remember the utterly bizarre poster in General Discussion who used to request images of hard faced celebrities like Patsy Palmer wearing denim jackets?!

Until you mentioned it, no, but now you have I do vaguely remember this! Does anyone have any links!?

If you’re not a Corbin loving, remain voting, Tory hating FM then you won’t survive long on there these days.

I don’t know if it’s because they got their previous targets banned and have had to turn on each other but there’s now a vicious split between pro and anti Corbiners on there. I predicted that would happen once they ran out of Tory supporters

Her MO was to find the most popular opinion on BB forums and post an arbitary opinion just to be fucking contrary. Rumpole of the fucking Bailey. She actually asked me if Danielle Lloyd using racist words made her a racist? Er?!! I didn't respond.

I have never been on the politics forum.

Soaps forum is a nursery playground. Big long threads starting:

'Evening Emmerdalians, I am eating my monster munch and drinking coke. Hope we're all well.

A non-regular would reply with something like 'Last nights episode was rubbish, what has happened to Harriet?' Cue them being totally ignored and them all navel gazing and talking about what they're eating/drinking/wearing. One of the rudest posters I have ever encountered in Soaps is Oldnjaded. Bit my head off when I said Vanessa was over exposed and presented a trillion statistics about her screentime compared to other characters. Just. Fuck. Off.

She put me on ignore before I was banned from DS so probably did the same here. Definitely the type who can dish out criticism but as soon anything negative comes her way she hides behind mods. Sad

I've never had an interaction with her but I saw her name. She must be lurking but not posting on threads. I wonder why?

LBC thread is awful now, seem to want most of the presenters fired. Not many left on there who post now, most have been hounded off if they have a different view to the few who seem to run the thread.

Yes got to say this forum is far better than ds. I actually post on here, I would not dare post over there. They just seem so nasty especially on the lbc & poliitics forums. I do like to read what is going on but then I am a nosy person!

BanglaTurd, Venetian & Tony Mahoney got a lot of folk banned in that lbc radio thread.
Just click on their profile & note the amount of 'discussions' they have made, i.e. reporting/running to the mods to get folk binned, and actual 'threads' they've started & subtract the difference.
Tony hasn't been seen in about a year but the other 2 think that thread belongs to them now.

BanglaTurd! Love it. Tony Mahoney was an Olympic level baiter and WUM. He vanished shortly after I got my permaban. Perhaps he figured 'job done'.

Morning all. I'm on DS and after you got mentioned over there I had to come over and take a look and this thread is hilarious. Personally I don't find DS that bad but I have come across plenty of the posters mentioned but I never interact with them. I tend to say my piece in a thread and that's it and I never get drawn into any arguments if it annoys someone. I find arguing with a stranger on the internet such a waste of time.

Waldo had a really disjointed way of posting. I was never sure if her first language was English or not. But she was quite informative about her supermarket job. I think she got banned, because during the first lockdown, she was posting every day about her visits to numerous supermarkets, whilst she was off work for some reason (caring for parents), it was quite annoying to be fair.
Daily if not, hourly updates on how she was shopping in other supermarkets. No awareness of what she was posting, put her in the firing line for breaking lockdown rules.
Think that must have peed off a few posters...she soon disappeared.

I always used to agree with SULLA’s posts in the politics forum.... we were definitely in the minority there!! I was quite offended when I got my permanent ban, but now I’ve found this place and seen other’s experiences... I’m glad I’m not a member anymore.

Hearst are a big publishing company so don’t forget to boycott any of their publications... they also part own A&E Networks UK, responsible for the TV channels Crime and Investigation, Lifetime, Blaze, Sky History and Sky History 2. So if you want to hit them in the wallet, avoid all of the above!

i used to enjoy Sulla's posts too and he was never abusive. The loonies managed to get rid of him though.

The 200 page thread, it seemed to attract all the nasty low lifes over on DS who more than likely live a shite life and attacking someone on social media cheers them up.

Monalisa was banned for a long time, but it was lifted when they decided to have a ban amnesty when the forum was relaunched. She is very unwell I believe and has form for harassing members of the Eastenders cast and crew. A Complaint was made by the BBC and the mods had to step in, they didn’t name her but most people knew who was referring to. She just carried on with her unhinged behaviour on Twitter. Also under the name Monalisa.

Why they let her back given all of this I dont know?

That gang certainly try to get posters banned if they offer an alternative view - some of them must be mods they would not get away with half of their games if at least one of them wasn't

Thankyou for your message. I still look at the forums and it’s so frustrating when I see a post that I’d like to respond to, and can’t. I don’t think I said anything warranting a ban , unlike the well known gang on DS who get away with ban worthy posts with impunity.
I do have an idea of who got me and my fellow poster banned, and I’m sure you can guess!
I didn’t know if she/he was damning me with faint praise when he said he can’t imagine me saying anything ban worthy! That could mean I’m too bland and dull to be controversial or perhaps that I’m too nice! Perhaps the Finisher could join us on here while still remaining on DS?
