I used to post/mainly lurk on DS years and years ago (different username).

Does anyone remember Crazy Chris? He seems to pop up in my memory for some reason. There was also an (Irish I think) girl who was one of the first to get 100k posts?? Apparently she was worked in admin but was doing more than a post a minute in stupid chat threads?

I also used to visit diabolik.tv (sp) if anyone remembers that?
Also - the time DS used to charge people £5 if they wanted to sign up using a gmail account

Chris posts on another DS spin off forum, his daughter passed away recently.

I went from the C4 forums to DS years ago, 2008 I think. I wasn't a prolific poster, more a prolific lurker.
Sad to hear Fredster is no longer with us, she was lovely.

It shows up the moderation, that’s for sure. Not only does she have free reign as a new poster, she has also successfully had long term posters put on bans, albeit temporary ones. Her posts are annoying, she is annoying, but she’s also running rings around pretty much everyone there and I can’t help but find it a little bit funny

I don’t think they’d last five minutes on here without being shown up for exactly who they are and told to duck off, that is, if the mods didn’t get to them first with their obvious baiting and ruining threads!

The Irish girl was Eternal Life I believe. Absolute flake who seemed to think that 24 trillion posts on DS should entitle her to an OBE.

I remember diabolik. Shame it all went so wrong when they started doxxing people and stalking them on Facebook. I like an online 'spat' as much as the next person but Stu Lancs/Aneechik or whatever his name is (who started the forum up) is beyond unhinged. Is it still going? Always made me chuckle that they were so vociferously anti DS but then spent every waking hour on there, setting up sock puppets, trolling the place 24/7 and basically showing they couldn't live without it.

I think most of the "Chatter" forum is devoted to mind-dumbing games like this one. And you do see people posting to every single thread every day, every week, every month.

And then they have the temerity to tell lesser mortals that because they have 300,000 posts it makes them some kind of Forum God, and that everyone should bow down, tug the forelock and be blessed breathing the same air as The Entitled One
