Oh Veri is a cunt. A misogynistic weirdo who thinks all women are jealous of each other. In fact there is so much misogyny on DS. Dundee boy is another one, and Mactowin who loves to post about how all women hate other women he deems to be attractive, and is astonishingly rude. One memorable incident involved him in the Strictly forum saying that beautiful women always get voted off before their time because the ‘saggy old women’ who watch hate them, then Abi Clancy won and he rather conveniently disappeared. I have been a member since 2004 and in the early days it was a fucking scream, then DSU was created and I had massive fall outs with all of them (can't believe it's still going tbh) and now it's just mediocre, butt clenching drivel on the whole (DS that is). I agree with the general consensus on Whedonite - no woman can ever be criticised. Veri is like Rumpole of the fucking Bailey and I remember a couple of jokers - AOTB and ChipDouglas82 who rode in on their white knight chargers sticking up for big titted 'stunners' like Danielle Lloyd et al. I still post on there but in a very half arsed way.
And you are very welcome, seems like in the past few days I've noticed a number of newbies popping up here, more from DS?

I always used to agree with SULLA’s posts in the politics forum.... we were definitely in the minority there!! I was quite offended when I got my permanent ban, but now I’ve found this place and seen other’s experiences... I’m glad I’m not a member anymore.
Hearst are a big publishing company so don’t forget to boycott any of their publications... they also part own A&E Networks UK, responsible for the TV channels Crime and Investigation, Lifetime, Blaze, Sky History and Sky History 2. So if you want to hit them in the wallet, avoid all of the above!

I don't know how DS keep getting away with it and why they would want to go to the trouble of banning long-standing members for some jumped up, made up offence while letting idiots rule the roost - are the mods scared of these morons or are these morons mods? You do have to wonder! Do the mods or even Heast not have anyone to answer to or can they really just do as they please?

Hi another ex-member of DS thrown off many years ago then tried the return a few times which was successful for a while but I made the mistake of venturing into politics once too often and of course fell foul of the militant posters with the alert scheme.
The LBC thread has been ruined by Banglaturd a man who spends his whole life listening to presenters he can't stand on a station he can't stand just to be offended and be able to post it on a forum.
The Coronavirus thread just keep giving, you have Occy from whatever planet he appeared from winding everyone up, SierraMist the know-it-all who disappears for days when his stats are proven to be wrong, now CRM is in their trying to make it political by trying to start a row then runs to the mods claiming he is being picked on.
I must admit I have not viewed politics for a while so not sure if it has calmed down in recent months since Brexit and Starmer.
Not seen James2001 for a while has he invaded another thread, he actually had calmed down a lot when he posted in the Covid thread but then did a strop and walked out.

I remember diabolik. Shame it all went so wrong when they started doxxing people and stalking them on Facebook. I like an online 'spat' as much as the next person but Stu Lancs/Aneechik or whatever his name is (who started the forum up) is beyond unhinged. Is it still going? Always made me chuckle that they were so vociferously anti DS but then spent every waking hour on there, setting up sock puppets, trolling the place 24/7 and basically showing they couldn't live without it.

Yes! Thanks to netflix and britbox I'm finding some shows I'd not watched at the time they aired and quite liked them (back to life being one with daisy haggard) so googling them brings up digital spy threads. More often than not after the first page it all turns into one 'lol clique' and the threads don't even make sense, nor are they about the show in question

I had something similar. I think the problem with a lot of the DS 'old timers' is they think they are invincible, which isn't exactly untrue.
One thing I did find amusing when you'd have people bumping old threads was when you looked through the thread, large proportions of members would naturally be inactive, but the ones who were rude and standoffish would always be the ones still active.

I think it's a game to some to see who they can get banned and then act all innocent asking where they are so they can have an 'inhouse' laugh about it. Poor Sulla was literally hounded out and they still take the piss out of him (I think they were male) even now which I thought talking about banned members was supposed to be against the rules.

As you rightly said, I also haven't known someone get away with what she does without being banned, yet still manages to get other posters banned instead. That said, from the lewd comments she makes, if she is not a mod, she must know at least one very well...
