Digital Spy Forums a place for posting some of the biggest subjects of the day from the 2008 Financial Crash, Brexit, The Christmas Radio Times Cover to Covid. Well after all that what has the legacy of Digital Spy Forums come down to, what today is the biggest topic that affects the British public. Well I present to you:

I may be risking getting a pasting here by saying this but wouldn’t it be better just to ignore what’s going on in other forums and just focus on making this forum a happy place. Otherwise those who want to disrupt things and bait to generate friction will be achieving their goal.

I think people are just venting. A lot of posters are just frustrated and angry at the way they were treated for years at DS. I know I did. Especially as I had been posting for a long time and the whole experience was ruined by a few posters who seemed take over in the last couple of years.

It's just kicked off because of what's happened the last couple of days.


And you didn't get a pasting because we're quite normal here

They've been told by so many including diehard Labour voters but nope the answer is always to scream far right, Nazi etc. I stopped going in the Politics forum. I'm on the fence like most Brits. We're a tolerant society but who I vote for does not define me as a person. I never criticise anyone for their vote. We all get 1 vote to use how we want, that's an inviolate right in a democratic country.

However, on DS you HAVE to support Labour, you HAVE to support remain, and you HAVE to have to support the WOKE mindset, to the most finest detail.

If doesn't matter if you are a Green, Lib Democrats, SNP, or even a Labour supporter.

If you don't agree with all the listed above you are 'far right'.

It just goes to show the mentality of some of the idiots.

Edit: Remember GreatGodPan? One of the left of left people who was on DS. They happened to support leave the EU. They were labeled 'far right' by some.

I feel a similar way. There’s only about three or four DS members that I really can’t stand and I sincerely hope that they don’t join here and spread their bullshit.

The good side of DS doing this is, many will now get to see that actually they were not necessarily right in their views, it's just that everyone who disagreed was banned. That can only be a good thing.

I still can’t get over Jaycee Dove, a trans woman, being called transphobic because their posts didn’t fit with the DS chosen view.

Absolutely hated James2001. He is to blame for at least 200 people being banned with his fake claims of people stalking him. He actually got Patsy Stone banned after she asked him if he still lived with his parents, he made this massive deal of how she had doxed him by asking such a thing.

Mesostim. Suffers from small dick syndrome. He won't be able to cope without DS.

HR Guru/ Sierra Mist. My greatest memory of this fool was him claiming Brexit was about to be stopped via a court order. He was so sure it was legit because he was in the 'know'. Turns out he had been following some parody account on Twitter and believed it to be real.

Smudges Dad and Moany Liza... awful people really.

Its no wonder DS failed with these people taking over.

I'm not anti gay, bi, les or trans. I know people who are and don't think any less of them because of who they are.

Although I do think the non binary stuff is utter rubbish. It is just another of those things getting rather stupid, out of control and promoted by silly people.

People should be entitled to their own opinion without being attacked, especially on a discussion forum. Again the sensitive woke people who can't deal with a different opinion have destroyed forums and social media.

Let us be clear. DS Politics is not left leaning, it is uber left leaning.

I've seen moderate lifelong Labour members labeled 'far right' by some of the numpties in the politics section, for not agreeing with the uber left mantra.

What I also laugh at is the numerous posts in the politics section about 'How can Labour win the 2024 election'.

Stop demonising those they don't agree with, would be a good starting point.

How on earth do they think the 'red wall' will be won back, when many of them are happy to continue throwing around the 'traitor', 'gammon', 'racist and 'bigoted' tag lines towards those very people.

The best day on DS must have been Brexit vote day even at 10pm the usuals were declaring they had won and we were staying in the EU the next day was DS gold in the politics forum also that the last election would be a hung parliament and Corbyn would team up with Nicola and rule the country.

Does anyone remember the thread where the lefties were counting the number of people dying so that the EU vote would be no longer valid and working out that everytime an old person died a young person would automatically Labour voters and no one changes their mind as they get older anymore.
