Yes, he did, he also took credit for working it out. The trouble is it was someone else who did that (he thought something else entirely) but he carries on letting DS think he worked it out. I've lost count of the times people give him credit for it. You would think he would be a little ashamed, but he isn't.

Can you tell us which soap or not. I only visit 2 of them and there are a couple of blokes who think it is their threadI don't know why I bother posting sometimes... I've just posted on the soap forum an answer to someone's question. Not 3 posts later, the poster who seems to think they control the thread has repeated virtually word for word what I said. I'm fairly sure any further discussion on the subject will now centre around this poster (not that I'm particularly bothered because I don't really go on there for the discussions but it would be nice to be acknowledged!) and my contribution will roll like tumbleweed

There can't be two people with that level of stupidity.
It's true that I clearly thought it was points but when I looked at the help pages on Vanilla as well as the code, I clearly saw i was wrong and I'm pretty sure I acknowledged that. But then I can barely remember what happened last week, let alone over a year ago.
Anyway, there's a pretty easy explanation of why I wanted people on DS to think I worked it out - it was entirely meant to wind Tanya up. If I remember correctly, I posted it on a thread that Tanya had posted on just because I knew she'd see it and because I wanted more people to see how much she alerts.
That's the reason why I haven't reported him.
The thing is at one time I wouldn't even have considered it. I'm not that precious but the way the site operates these days and watching the way the LBC thread was decimated by FM's getting banned left, right and centre ( or should that be right and centre
) I've started to look at posts very differently which is why I hardly post now. That's not fun and not the way it should be.I've just read a post of theirs that is completely different to normal. I've noticed it before. Most of the time it seems like it's either a young child or a really old person not particularly au fait with forums.

I am one of the many banned posters who have also now found Tattle - so much better! I still don't understand what the DS Discussion counts mean. Yes, you have flagged a post to the mods, but that could be for many reasons, yet it now seems to mean you want a poster banned. Thank goodness I'm no longer part of that as it seems very divisive.

How would that work? I was poo-pooed a few days ago for asking if DS mods can also still post. Would they lose their posting privileges?
