They'd get a bit of a shock that's for sure. Imagine having to read posts were people disagree and don't pander to you!!
There's something very wrong if someone can post something like that and not get a ban yet I know people who have had bans for pointing out a posters spelling mistake!! My bans have been for the most ridiculous things and it actually makes me angry reading that kind of post is apparently acceptable.

Oddly enough (since we are talking about bans and FP) I got a week's ban last year for criticising the heavy handed moderation over trans threads. I was expecting it though.
She struck me as a very unhappy person. Part of me felt a bit sorry for her.

I still post on there regularly so something keeps drawing me back. It's easy to look back on things with rose tinted glasses but I still liked it better several years ago. Not sure what changed.

Genuine question, why did you join TL if you don't have any problems with how bad DS has become over the last few years?

Waldo was never suited to a customer service job. As for her breaking every rule during the first lockdown - supposed to be self isolating, yet was shopping at 2-3 different supermarkets everyday and boasting about it, I'm not surprised her comments were unwarranted.

Yes. I belong to a few. I do feel though that DS is the strangest. used to have so many varying opinions but now it's so hive-minded, many have given up posting in certain types of threads. Ive had so many warnings and temp bans in this last year, I never even had a warning before that.
Occy is male (unless fooling us!) I posted a few days ago here that his name is Mark. He posted something on DS that was addressed to him and included his name..

I shall seek it out and reply...I'll assume you've managed to avoid some of the more extreme posters there then. It's not in all threads, there are still some really great posters there which is why I still contribute but I'm very select these days. There really are some nasty, vindictive posters there though and most of them seem to be supported by the mods which is perhaps the biggest gripe here.
