I never agreed with him but I respected GreatGodPan. He was true to his beliefs and was an argumentative fucker but he was always courteous and informed. This was despite being constantly baited. He did have a tendency to ignore direct questions though.

It was a shame he was banned for Brexit wrongthink.

Thats the one I wa trying to remember when I mentioned Sulla. I can't imagine why he got banned as he really kept his cool against some shocking baiting.

I used to love Digital Spy. Long time ago mind you, when it was the time of Jodie mush. Only ever posted in showbiz and lurked in some of the reality tv ones. Couldnt be arsed with the cliques in chatter and general.

They were a user who was caught up in a load of lies. Such as pretending to be South African (for example they’d pretend to run each morning to other cities that would take hours. Mention foods that wouldn’t be eaten together usually but they would definitely be mentioned in popular South African dish lists that are easily googled)

They lied about having a girlfriend Kate and said she proposed to her and the ring picture she sent and claimed was the ring was actually a Reddit post from 2 years ago. Also Kates family didn’t like them and made them break up with her because she was a South African who had covid.

They also had a penchant for acting inappropriately with other members.

Speak in a vernacular that no actual lesbian in her 20s would speak “flick the bean” as an example. I am a lesbian myself have never said that in a sexual context. Nor have any of my partners or lesbian friends have.

I don’t know if this is true but would constantly exclaim how they had a drinking issue and had gotten herself arrested for buying wine illegally as South Africa had a prohibition on alcohol at the time during their national lockdown to prevent covid transmission.

Several users had caught onto her inconsistencies , such as the amount of time to get to a certain airport. Them saying one thing and then in another post the opposite.

DippyDi had similar posts. Talking about how they were a lesbian. Having the same favourite TV shows. They described their girlfriends habits in the same way such as the way her gf annoys her by the way she fidgets in her sleep. Their love of rum and raisin ice cream and Cornetto ice creams. The way they describe what they are wearing eg, “oversized shirts and socks”

I think lockdown has finally got to me as I’ve fallen down a hole and am wondering how the fuck multiple forums are getting the wool pulled over their eyes by this person. I’m fascinated.

The mods do lie, even over the most stupid things. This is what I wrote in the first few pages on the first thread:

Those mods don’t know their arse from their elbow. I contacted them once and asked them why they had taken away a certain feature that used to be on the site. They replied back saying they never had that feature at all and wasn’t planning to implement it. I emailed them back with a link to a 10 page thread I made a few years before about said feature. No response after that

I mean, it’s not important but I just don’t get the need to lie over something so pointless!? Or, if it was a genuine mistake or oversight, to fire a quick reply back to say something like “it looks like we did used to have that feature but it was decided to remove it”.

I had to laugh today to see Sierra complain about newspapers "manipulating graphs and data to meet their agenda" Which I'm pretty sure is what Sierra/Mist/Guru has been doing for the last year.

I'm aware more and more of Moses_Horler who seems to enjoy being a doom merchant and jumping at anyone who dares say that they are looking forward to restrictions easing. "These are provisional dates only!!!!!!!!" Bore off!

How quiet is Sierra these days, sat on his laptop waiting for that one moment when cases rise so he can upload another chart. It must be so frustrating and annoying seeing cases fall everyday trying to justify the stupid "cases won't fall below 20,000 its stagnating I SAID IT'S STAGNATINNGGGG".

I used to feel sorry for him, he was harmless but endlessly baited and trolled. Someone on Sleeping Dogs forum is on there today saying their greatest achievement was getting him banned from DS.

I always thought he was innocuous. I don't remember him ever saying anything untoward.

I have never understood this and never will. Their default excuse is "Because LBC is more political these days" Just an easy excuse to spout any and every political comment, regardless of whether it has been mentioned by an LBC presenter.

This thread has just become a personal one for like-minded posters to agree with each other about their opinions. I note that many rarely post in the Politics forum as they they feel safer where they can all slap each other on the back as to who has found the most crap amusing tweet to post.

And still the mods allow this. However, not surprising if at least one of the regular posters is a mod.

Snowy, mikw, bangla etc have created their own chamber in the lbc shit-chat thread, after being on the receiving end of warnings in Politics.
Outsiders aren't tolerated in their clique now, even relatively harmless posters like Martin R.
I think Bangla may well be a mod.
