Offers are invited from TV companies to broadcast a prime time interview with my wife about how my family have not been very nice to her. She intends to skirt around the issue a lot, failing to identify who specifically has offended her but making it very clear that someone in my family has, but they won’t get a right to reply as they’re not identified. I may make an appearance to say she has been offended, but I don’t really want to talk about it.

I think those like FP do a disservice to trans people. They are perpetuating the view that they are all sexual fetishists and deviants.

I've seen similar happening on Reddit. People pertaining to be trans, but, then coming out with awful, disgusting fetish shit. I swear it's bigots deliberately trying to spread their anti-trans agenda to make more people come to their side.

^Yep. I mentioned AOTB and ChipDouglas 82 earlier in the thread. Because a few of us expressed the opinion that Danielle Lloyd is a nasty racist, we were all deemed 'jellus' and misogynistic. They creamed their knickers over any 'hot' celeb like Helen Flanagan, Kelly Brook et al. They didn't give a shit about any famous woman who wasn't conventionally 'hot' but sadly didn't have the intelligence to argue their 'point' properly. See also Jason. zx50 is one who has said bold as brass that if he had a girlfriend (incredibly unlikely) they would 'get hit' if she annoyed him. Absolutely unbelieveable how a bunch of incels whose only proximity to a vagina has been the ones they fell out of at birth could be allowed to plague the Showbiz forum for so long.

Now while I would usually welcome a new user to these parts and share a moan or two about DS and it’s numerous foibles with them and the rest of us, I feel I can’t do that with a certain new user sadly.

So I think that signals my time is up on this part of Tattle...

Yes I could be more of a grown up and just accept them on here but when I experienced quite nasty and personal messages at their hand on DS, there’s absolutely no way I want to spend any more time around them.

It’s petty, it’s childish, but it’s for my own good really and that’s what matters most - in these times more than ever.

Maybe I’ll see some of you around elsewhere on Tattle and for now I’m still on DS (for my sins), so I’m not going for good.

Maybe SierraMist could do a full comprehensive analysis of RuPaul and provde charts and stats of how each show is going and whether the ratings will plateua, it could be 50/50 if the ratings go down or not.

I think she eventually got banned for arguing with people.

Yeah I remember her. Long walls of text but very little content that was either new or interesting.

She was like the DS equivalent of a bad lifestyle influencer, one long string on meaningless platitudes and irrelevant anecdotes.

Another poster I regularly see being an arse towards other posters is walterwhite. I don't know what his problem is but he is always sneering and having sly digs at people. Perhaps he is living up to his namesake, the character Walter White wasn't very pleasant either.

I can't remember the last time we had any legendary threads like that. Those days are long gone.

I scrolled through GD the other day and was struck by how many Doom and Gloom Covid related threads there were. There was literally nothing light-hearted or fun. I remember all the inane threads from a couple of years ago started by enudzio(?) They were slated at the time, but they always got the discussion going and there were some genuinely funny ones.

I remember that It was very sad. I think she had a lot of experience in journalism herself and used to write anecdotes. The person who targeted her hadn't even posted on the thread for a few years.

How did you get them to delete your account? I asked for them to delete my information under the “right to be forgotten” rule from the GDPR legislation however they said they would refuse this request as they have a need to keep the information?!? I’m pretty sure only financial institutions are allowed to do that and DS has no legal requirement to keep my personal data.

I hassled them until they gave in i think i just said i no longer want my username to be any part of your forum, and i do not want my details left for any moderator to abuse, i then said any fraudulent scam emails that i get will always make me wonder where they come from and if i get in touch with the police your forum will be the first place i will say has my details without permission

i was furious at them and hammed it up, but i have seen another couple of deleted user next to posts so i think they might do it as normal now , apparently some things are left behind , this was the email i got

I am also a banned poster after many years. I'm not happy about it but I don't mind my profile now showing red. I have a good idea who the posters were behind it. At least I have found this forum instead and it is far more liberal than what DS has become.

I'm not sure 'Deleted User' showing under a profile is any better - Banned or Deleted - either way you can no longer post on DS. Does it really make a difference who does or doesn't know?

That was a few days ago now , and looking back i dont care now, that was the trouble with DS , nearly everytime i used it i would stop posting getting worked up because some idiot was being pedantic , looking to score points over your post etc... its feels like 75% of the users now have no interest in chat about the subject on the thread , they just want to bait or get one over you on your posts, so i just wanted gone so i was not tempted back to posting in a few weeks

FP is not a real Transgender. Before he was always someone who liked to dress in women's clothes, then trans become a big thing and he then jumped on that. He is one of those awful men who hate women and would like to see them wiped out.
Real trans women do not hate women because they are women and just as horrified with what is going on right now as everyone is.

You can be members of more than one forum, surely? I dip in and out of several. Tattle is my favourite, it's busy and the posters are funny, kind and smart. Digital Spy used to be entertaining, and I'm not sure what changed - it's dull as ditchwater though.

Yes. I belong to a few. I do feel though that DS is the strangest. used to have so many varying opinions but now it's so hive-minded, many have given up posting in certain types of threads. Ive had so many warnings and temp bans in this last year, I never even had a warning before that.

Did you see that post where I ask you and the other person you were chatting too about that FM who was pm you both?
