Another poster I’ve just remembered was the girl who would post photos of amazing cakes she’d made, but then died of anorexia. She was as far as I could tell a real person as she had a blog elsewhere and a Twitter account where she’d also post photos of the cakes.

There was someone who wished their sister would have a disabled child so she faced some hardship as her life was too easy.

Proper freaks all over the place on DS. In the last remaining years before they closed then, General Discussion and Politics forums were wall to wall weirdos. Anyone sane had been run off.

The moment I knew DS had "fallen" was when someone got banned just for saying I agree to another user.

That sort of happened to me. One poster made a comment and I basically said 'I agree' and she got banned and I got suspended. It was over something very trivial. It was during a time when that twat Bangla Road was posting a lot and thought he was cock of the forum. He didn't realise he was just a cock.

Because we can see who's reacted, I've seen people called out on inappropriate reactions. TBF I've not seen any real abusive of reactions.

When I first joined Tattle I was disappointed there was no direct messaging but I have come to realise it's a very good thing. I'm pretty sure there was a lot of collusion on some threads on DS via DM to target and bully certain posters.

Plus it prevents pervs like RyanAbbott sexually pestering you and sending unwanted pictures of their private parts.

I think I mentioned this on here before on one of those “count to one million” threads (WHAT is the actual point to those threads btw?) and when they were reaching the milestone “non regulars” began to contribute and the tantrums that someone not in the gang would take the million spot was HILARIOUS

That happens on the DS Strictly threads where "long standing posters" take umbrage if someone dares to start a thread which they think is in their domain.

FairyPrincess is a self-admitted pedalo but the mods covered it up, I guess they realised what they said and panicked but they're a sick puppy and I don't believe at all that they are trans.

I don't notice most of the time unless someone laughs at something heartfelt/sensitive. Even then I'm mostly just ??? to myself unless I'm in a proper bitchy mood.

Yeah sometimes I notice it but not enough to care. Some people are always gonna think I'm a prick who talks shite and that's fine.

I posted for years, loved Keo Line, gosh there used to be some fab general discussions and the early days Big Brother was great. I ended up there when Chamnel 4 forums closed and it was between here and AV when DS closed their decent forums.

I remember Keyser Soze, Ducky Lucky, and the dreaded Tanya, jeez she was a nightmare, had done everything and been everywhere. The McCann discussion always got so heated and then deleted so it's good to see it ongoing here.

Also who was the guy who got off on wearing animal costumes? James something?

I knew that would happen. The Woman's a fruit loop fantasist. She did me a massive favour though getting me banned, I wouldn't have found my way here otherwise.

Im not banned but its a shell of a place now. Shes a big fish in a wee pond .

Shame as I was there for years loving the tooing and frooing in there with intelligent posters.

Walter White is a nightmare. He was one of the doom and gloom team during Covid who wouldn't let anyone even dare have hope. Those Covid threads were crazy. Posters trying to out doom each other and getting excited and celebrating when there were high deaths because it proved their point was right. I think if it was up to some of them, we would still be in lockdown now.

The covid threads were horrendous. I had a look at AVF for the first time in ages and a lot of the DS lot are there, still banging on about who’s had their vaccine, should we bring back masks etc. Years later! It’s wild.

FP was creepy to me long before that, they've always radiated bad vibes, but DS truly became a haven for the disturbed and dangerous in that moment.

Fairyprincess also posted bemusedly - and perhaps proudly - about going to see a Disney film at the cinema, full of children, and all the parents giving weird looks to the 'burly[...]bloke' sitting there.

SamTheFootball is one I always remember. Blamed his Brother for being unable to find a Woman. Blamed his Brother for not having a job. Blamed Women for his problems.

If you Google his name, results from forums other then DS pop up. He goes from one place to another, asks the same questions and gets banned.

Rinse. Repeat.

I remember when Emily from BB8 got ejected for calling Charley the n-word, the (male) forum members were all calling for her to return to the house because it was unfair. But none of them could even say what was so good about her, apart from her being attractive and having a nice bum....

Macca, the wannabe Mod, was another pain in the backside poster. I saw it myself that he would check each thread on the "recent" page and post a reply along the lines of "yes, this is okay to talk about", or "This was discussed in 2005, why do we need another thread?" My favourite Macca moment was when he was recording a football match, planning to watch it later, but he was reading a thread as it was being broadcast live. "STOP SPEAKING ABOUT THE GAME! REPORT, REPORT, REPORT!!"

There was a poster in the talent show threads, Jeff somebody, always came across as a bit simple and supported whichever young, mixed race Woman was in the show. I got numerous warnings for pointing his bias out.

Met (on DS) and know them. Lovely couple. Gillypanda helped me out no end when my dad died, back in 2009. In person as well as online. I came over to Tattle when DS GD died (and for the Phillip Schofield gossip). Was getting sick of the point scoring and tribal rivaries on there, anyway. Enjoy Tattle much more.

Tanya1982 has surpassed themselves with their fantasy life. On a thread called: ‘you know you’re getting old when…’ which was in the UK TV Shows forum so was obviously meant to be about UK TV Shows but somehow they have made it all about them.

They had already made one post a few days ago saying: “When your sons love life is busier and more interesting than your own, and you start tutting at details despite having done similar” and then they decided to quote their own post and elaborate on it 4 days later
