Why is she so bleeping stupid? She didn't do any research before buying a puppy, she just wanted an IG accessory. If she'd have done her research she would have picked a less active, demanding breed, or not got one at all!

Exactly. She’s bought a trendy dog (well, Leah’s version of trendy is 2004 as we can tell from her dress sense so back when Paris Hilton was big news) instead of getting something that fits her lifestyle. I really don’t like seeing anyone cry and I do feel for her because she’s clearly realised she made a bad decision, but she’s only got herself to blame.

I honestly think she got him because
1. IG views - hasn’t worked. He isn’t that cute and just looks like a rat.
2. To encourage her to be more active - but she used every excuse not to walk him - rain, snow, him not wanting to. you need an active mindset beforehand. Seeing her filming herself at the gym infuriates me even more now, go for a long walk with him instead.
3. Because she’s lonely - but now she can’t see her friends


As soon as she got him home, she was shoving him in a crate or only taking him out in a hold-all.
Yes, it might be a good idea to crate train or protect him when small, but this is Leah, she was not doing it for those reasons. She never wanted a dog… a dog is active, needs daily exercise, barks etc. She wanted a toy that would love her. She would always gloat that people would say how cute he was. She is so pathetic, seriously.

I don't feel particularly sorry for the dog because it's a horrid little rat (I'm an animal lover but a cat person x 10000 and the dogs I do like are the ones that are larger than guinea pig with growth deficiencies). However she would be best to rehome it to someone who can actually meet its needs.

Gentle parenting has found its way over to dogs and now you have a whole generation of new dog owners who are trying to parent their dogs as if they are literal human babies. This is not appropriate for all breeds. Some breeds require extremely firm handling and boundaries. A friend of mine had an extremely aggressive Jack Russell that in all likelihood was going to end up being put down because she kept biting people. He saw several dog trainers who advised all the positive reinforcement stuff etc, and it all made her worse. In the end he saw a much more traditional trainer who advised crating, an air blow collar etc, and that dog is now transformed. Not only is she better behaved, she is so obviously happier and less anxious with firm and consistent boundaries in place rather than people trying to treat her as a human child. She would have been put down otherwise, she was that aggressive.

IMO she'd have been much better off with a cat. She could have got a rescue FIV+ cat who was therefore indoor only - indoor only cats are super affectionate and very low maintenance. But then I remember how she couldn't cope looking after her mate's cat that time either!

100% agree with you. People get those little handbag dogs, thinking they're oh so cute, but they can be hard work, highly strung and high maintenance. They can also be snappy. A family member rescued one and it's super clingy. It also roosters it's leg in a strange environment they did manage to train it somewhat and chill it out a bit, but it's not happy unless it's in bed with them or having constant attention

She's just too selfish and childish for any pet. The novelty wears off very quickly. Maybe she should get a fake goldfish in one of her wanky glass bowls

The only thing I would say is, even if he was the best behaved dog in the world, he is still not suitable to her lifestyle. She is not the kind of person to wake up early to walk him. She really thought she could just load him off somewhere whenever she needed to.
Maybe because Lorna does it with Boo. But it’s cruel and Boo is very old.
And yes, she absolutely hated that cat. She will always come first, and due to it won’t be able to bond with any animal without resentment.

YES, £857!! on tacky cheap clothes and shoes in just 3 weeks!!!

If you include the bags (2x coach and 1xjacquemus) it’s £2300!

To wear to where exactly?
She doesn’t go out to work, never goes out anymore, and notice how none of them are suitable for dog walking

She could have bought some really nice stuff for that money.

I think so. And the fact she takes Friday off to do this, I think she really thinks this is a viable business for her, but when she picks such horrible outfits all the time I don’t see how. The only thing she got right was jumping on the mid-size train (but what is mid-size anyway, isn’t she plus size?).
