Omg me too, I’ve recently landed (what is hopefully ) my dream job and I left my current one yesterday, I feel like I ought to buy something special but it’s a fleeting thought, there’s nothing I NEED and there’s so much choice out there that it’s easier to just go “nah” and think about something else. (First world problems )

And same - the joy is taken out of it when you’ve got to Google shareholders to see if there are human/employment rights infringements profiting from ur purchase and Tanner Leatherstein on TikTok whose content I love but it does take the appeal out of buying massively.

This is such a gorgeous combo and the engagement shoes. I want to be you when I grow up!

I’m not that bothered by fakes tbh, they’ve always been around and always will be. But I think that's why it's so important to buy designer stuff you actually like - @ATV2021 does this really well IMO with the more unusual items - and not just 'to have a designer bag' for example. Like I know LV is a bit marmite for this reason but the quality and the detail in real LV really stands out from fakes, and I am still as obsessed with the stuff I have from LV as the day I got them. I was actually on the train the other day with my LV Neverfull opposite a woman who had an extremely obvious fake and it was really amusing because we were both just sitting there eyeing up each other's bags

Is anyone planning an summer accessory purchases atm? I'm hoping this sun stays around so I can get my Orans back out!

I do! I love it, I have the classic black, white, tan with tan edging/straps. I use it everyday and will do until I die I think! It still looks brand new and I bought it in 2020. Such a classic and very understated. My daughter has a fake green one and I can’t deny it’s very pretty.

Aww thank you I do love my more unusual/unique bits. Even with my Cartier ring I got a band with diamond/Cartier name on instead of the more seen love types. My LV is my first ever proper designer and I went for a little red epi satchel & then got the matching key pouch/purse (I do also have the monogram one....this threads fault!). LV when I was a teen (apart from being like £500 for a neverfull ) was always the thing that, in my little head lol, was to say I'd done well by being able to buy one.

I feel like sandals are still chunky-ish but less dad now, more sleek/luxe. This probably makes no sense

I think I get what you mean, the celine gladiators seem to be the sandal of the season so still on the chunkier side but more feminine than the dad sandal.

I still like the dad sandal and it seems like every designer has done their own version this summer so they are definitely still in but may not be after this year.

They are beautiful bags up close - the pattern is raised and painted on the canvas 🤎 I have the St Louis as I wanted something very simple.

This example isn’t so bad as it’s only cheap jewellery but have seen them from the likes of Matches- these what the staff wear to the office reels from luxury brands
These ladies are paid poverty wages and treated really badly trust me (not Astrid in particular as it’s not a luxury brand), but similar from others

Yes it’s the St. Louis PM. I absolutely love it! It’s a bit floppy but I like that about it! Really laid back luxury I have it 18 months now and there is not one sign of wear despite travelling abroad with it, using it for work wtc. Handles good and sturdy too. I think the neverfull is a bit more structured but i just prefer the Goyard! More understated and has that “if you know you know” factor

Thank you so much! Yeah I’m not a fan of the neverfull and my YSL tote is getting a bit battered on the handles so I need something new. Sorry I think my message edited but I meant to ask if the handles were short? I’ve heard they’re a bit shorter on the pm size!
