let’s see!So I’ve never dabbled in Louis Vuitton but I think now is the time. I’ve always loved the Alma bb and thought that would be my first Louis Vuitton bag but I’ve become obsessed with the loop bag. Is the loop too trendy? Will I regret this in a couple of years or do we think it’s a shape that will always look good?

I prefer the loop bag cos I think it looks cool and feel the alma bb could maybe be a big chunky for certain outfits and I’m a bit bored of seeing it but it’s a classic!
Also consider the strap length, i think you can wear the loop bag cross body or as a shoulder bag? But I think the strap on the Alma bb is pretty long and I’ve read it may be too long for the length I like to wear my bags at (5,4)

I feel like the loop is definitely my style now but the alma would still work and as it’s a classic it would always look good whereas the loop could date. Like you say the straps with the loop make it more versatile and it can definitely go from day to night easier. Think I may have to go into store and try them both.
Do you think you'd still wear the loop when the trend has passed? I think these shape bags will date horribly. They're cute but definitely a trend and I wonder whether you'd be irritated that you spent so much on a trend bag unless you're confident to keep wearing it when it's time has passed
I agree, I like the Loop Bag but personally won’t wear that in a few years time.. I have the Alma BB and can definitely say I’ll be using that until it’s withered away
it’s a classic bag with plenty space and ages well.
I have sold on both eBay and Luxe Collective before, I think from experience Luxe Collective was better as you just send them your item if they agree to buy it off you but it does have to be nearly new condition. If it's more used, I'd say eBay.

I have the Alma and it's the perfect bag for day or night! It can look casual but also be dressed up and there's some that have a really fancy cross body strap now that says Louis Vuitton on. I went for a classic navy one and I love it so much
I’m glad I asked this! I think if I go with the loop I’d still want the alma at some point where as I doubt I’d feel the same the other way round. I like the idea of adding a different strap to the Alma to make it look a bit more on trend than classic for now.

Another alma bb lover here! It’s my most used bag and honestly I think it’s the perfect bag (I have the Damier) I don’t have a bad word to say about it. I’m 5’3 and I don’t think the strap length is too long! It’s a great length

Yeah I'd quite like to know this. I'm in the UK Luxury Lovers fb selling group but for some reason my posts don't get past admin- they don't post them? Maybe Depop. Don't bother with Vinted for designer, things tend to go for really low prices
