If you’re beauty shopping and you can get what you need from Sephora (they stock Chanel and Dior), I’d pick them over Boots any day. Customer service is so much better. They have a different reward system but you can end up saving a good amount of money.

Afternoon ladies, I hope we’re all well.

So I spent a lovely couple of hours on the ground floor of Selfridges on Friday. Saw some truly beautiful bags and tried on lots. Customer service was excellent I have to say. I saw the Celine canvas pouch as they had one in stock but it was too big and flat for me. Also saw lots of gorgeous basket bags (thought of you @ATV2021 😁) and after a lot of thought (way too much time in my hands clearly!) have decided that a Fendi is the next bag for me. Hoping to save a few £100 by going very gently pre-loved. I’m looking on Vestiaire. Can anyone recommend any other UK or Europe resell sites? The RealReal have some beauties but they’re in the States which kinda puts me off.

Have you looked in Fendi at Bicester @Dizzy ? Also Seliier Knightsbridge seem to have good preloved but mainly Chanel and Hermes. I also follow HEWI but haven’t used either x

I haven’t - good shout!
I’ll have a look on Seliier and HEWI too - thank you 🥰

On a similar note, does anyone have a Coach Tabby bag? Thoughts? I would never normally consider Coach as not really my style but the little Tabby bags are really cute.

Dunno if this is a good or bad thing but there’s nothing I’m lusting over at the minute which is annoying considering I’m about to get a pay rise 😭

Afternoon ladies, I am hoping to get some recommendations of a nice laptop bag for my new promotion as previously on a desktop only.

My Mini Zipped Bayswater Mulberry is too small & was looking at the MJ tote bags as feel this can be used in and outside of work but open for opinions & what you all use!

I used to use my large gucci tote bag until a bottle of water spilled in my bag and that was the end of my laptop 😭😭
So I now use an actual proper laptop bag to prevent me putting my lunch in it. I have a little radley one which I love and everyone always comments on how nice it is

Obvs it depends how often you’re carrying it but if you’re going to do more than like a 10/15 minute walk with it sporadically I’d seriously suggest a backpack above anything else. Which I appreciate isn’t glam or fun, it doesn’t have to be an IT issue ergonomic monster just something so you’re not leaning and pulling your neck.

I would second all of the above as a tech girlie - lululemon, antler, radley and osprey do very neat and secure little laptop backpacks 💁🏻‍♀️

Third vote for a back pack. The neck and shoulder pain just isn’t worth it 😣

It is really just back & forth from the carpark to the office. Going to check out Radley & Lululemon! Thank you all ☺

I have a great wee lunch bag so no spillages & think I’ll look into a backpack style when I find out the size so I’m not having a handbag as well!
