Thanks for the advice😘!
Hinestly look at the "Jem and Bea" bags. A fraction on the price and lush. I had the "Jamie" back pack. Still use it now some times if we go for days out. My friend had a gucci changing bag, shes very glam but it looked awful.

do you remove the care tag on hermes scarf ?
I’m assuming you mean the label hand stitched in the corner ( I‘ve taken a quick shot of one of my scarves). No. Leave it in situ.
eta: this pic isn’t the best due to night time and me being in bed when I read your post. I can post a clearer image in daytime.

Is everyone on a spending ban this thread is very quiet lol I actually realised yesterday I hadn’t bought anything myself for ages. I’ve been looking at boots but I’ve had so much going on in life I just haven’t even got round to going out and buying some!
Yes I’m having a break from buying for now but I am obsessing about the Celine box bag and the Celine classic Triomphe bag. Has anyone got either of them and do you recommend in terms of wear and tear and practicality?

Has anyone ever purchased from Gargano? Personal shopper on IG
Given that they don’t mention the name of the brands and use nicknames I would be inclined to say they are fake. Also personal shoppers tend to sell above retail not below x

Does anyone follow handbag_holic? I like her collection but her click bait YouTube links are giving 2015 and really starting to get on my nerves. Just tell us what bag you love!!

Yes! It’s all very cheesy. I’ll give it to her though she’s got guts to go in the stores and record herself with bags she has no intentions buying. I’m scared to ask for something when I do want to buy lol

Yes totally and she seems to keep selling her bags so she can buy new ones to show on her channel.

I have a some money which I inherited and I am being very sensible and saving most of it for our future BUT I decided to buy one really nice piece of jewellery to remember my close relative ....I am clueless and wondered what others might opt for ? Not high fashion more classic ....any tips very welcome
I was looking at a nice Cartier tank watch but have decided on a piece of jewellery instead..

I had the same and went for a Cartier "wedding band" with a little diamond in it. Cartier have had a price increase but I still love it

I'd probably get a really beautiful vintage piece, something unique and timeless. Personally I wouldn't go designer for jewellery (aside from possibly Chanel earrings).

Do you want something you can wear all the time or occasional?

I’m in a similar position - sorry for your loss.

I’m thinking a 5 or 7 stone diamond ring, sparkly but still wearable day to day. Originally I was looking at eternity rings but couldn’t find any I loved. I’m mostly leaning towards a ring because it could be engraved.

I really like solitaire diamond necklaces too, I know Cartier have one but an independent jeweller might be better.

Also like the thought of having some really pretty jewellery (maybe earrings) only kept for special occasions that could be passed down.
