Just been into flannels (against my better judgement) in the off chance they had some trainers I’m thinking about, but never tried them on. They did and got me a pair out of the back and I noticed there was a reduced sticker on reducing them by £106! I like and said I’d definitely be buying them if they fit! The girl took the shoe off me and checked… apparently it was an old sale sticker well that’s not my fault of the stockroom staff arent on it and don’t remove old stickers.
I got a floor manager over and they said they can’t honour it. I challenged him and said would he rather not have a sale at the reduced price than no sale and he said they system won’t over ride it (ok ). Fuckers.

Not a regret no, I love mine but buying Chanel, Celine, Goyard etc means that I now ONLY buy Chanel, Celine, Goyard etc as my bag snobbery has got even worse!! I mean I will prob get the YSL clutch in the summer but that is as ‘low’ as I’d go regards the prestige of a brand and I’m already thinking is the Celine clutch a better buy. I know this is ludicrous I should add!

Also lusting after an acne studios scarf, and I have asked hubby for a Cartier love necklace for a push present as baby no 2 is due any day now but just seen they’ve had a price increase which is slightly disappointing but feel like they can’t be avoided atm!

This SA chat has put me in mind of one in the Celine concession in De Bijenkorf in Amsterdam. I very politely asked which style a particular pair of sunglasses were and she looked me up and down like I'd just crawled out from under a rock and spat out a one word answer before going back to look at her phone! It was so rude that it made me laugh and I had planned on buying a pair but in that very moment thought "nah, fuck you love!"

Also a no from me. If it got wet and grubby it’ll just look really cheap, plus it’s not made of anything special, it’s just a cord bracelet. Way overpriced for £120

So, the new style Lanvin ballet pumps just arrived and OMG - they are unbelievable.

Beautifully made, super soft, buttery lambskin, and they are so padded in the sole they feel like sneakers! I'd maybe go half a size up, but they are a strong 10.10 on the first impression

My understanding is they use entrupy authentication for ordinary designer bags but use bababeibi for Hermes items. Dm.luxe and others known in the ‘bag world’ have bought from there a number of times so I don’t think their bags are fake. Having said that i know there is a bit of an issue at the moment with a company called love luxe based in Barnsley who have been caught selling fakes with entrupy authentication. They’re blaming entrupy for wrong authentication and entrupy are blaming love luxe. I don’t know the specifics but know a lot of people have been affected by it and haven’t got their money back.

My bayswater was £480 back in the olden days! I also remember getting evening bags from HoF Oxford St for about £150 and wallets from the main store on Bond St for £50! That’s when they were cool and well made. Why double, triple the price when people don’t even GAF?

I need a small evening bag for when I'm in ibiza. To go with beach dresses and party dresses etc, preferably white. What do you guys think of Jacquemus bags?
My budget is around £800 but would prefer to spend less than that and they are in that price range

I personally wouldn’t spend my money on the Jacquemus bags but if you like it and it suits your style go for it. That price range you could maybe look at Gucci, I saw a girl with this when I was away I thought it looked cute.

I don't own any balenciaga, however if I did i think I'd feel comfortable using a city bag, anything pre demna, or stuff with no branding. I spilled my latte in my YSL tote in feb. It was my own fault, I was balancing it on top of my stuff whilst on a flight and the turbulence tipped it over 🥲 now I’ve shoved it to the back of my wardrobe and don’t wear it lol, I have no idea how to clean it!

Something feels really off with them, they’re not big enough to have to publish a P&L but their balance sheet isn’t what I’d expect to see for a luxury reseller with a physical premises in Knightsbridge? £823 cash at bank Adam Abraham has no other directorships past or present and a quick check on Google trends shows basically no search interest for him ever, which you’d expect to see for a billionaire businessman? (Even as part of a bigger family biz?). Like even normal PAYE employees for big brands will have more of a digital footprint than he does. All very weird, especially involving a child in this delusion.
