I’ve had some bargains from flannels over the years. Like £40 McQueen scarves. £30 Valentino sandals. All damaged.
As someone who's visited flannels warehouse, as well as other retailers Selfridges etc, I would never buy from flannels (or any other SD shop). They treat their stock with as much care as the stock for HOF. I'd imagine that staff working there have similar working conditions to Amazon

Ahhh a thread for me 😍
My most recent luxury purchases where an LV capucines with the python handle, and a Rolex submariner (waited for a year on the waitlist for her 😩
Both get used every single day, can’t buy something that expensive and leave it in the wardrobe
I know this probably sounds silly… but how do you get over the fear of keeping things for best. I cannot fathom to use some of my stuff. It is an irrational fear but I just don’t know how to break it.

I've never not had my heart on a LV Neverfull (just worry I'd not use due to size) but I'll still pop on my list anyway.

Kinda want a Dior Cotton Bracelet (no idea why lol) but I keep seeing them and feeling ooh

Chloe Woody Tote is also a love.

However...my list developed alot last year thanks to this thread 😆
My neverfull got stolen and it’s something I always think about rebuying! I always thought I’d not use it due to size but I wore it every single day. Crazy how expensive they are since I brought mine tho 😭 like everything I guess

Those Tiffany trainers are HIDEOUS! Apologies to anyone who loves them 😂 That said, I'm really not a Tiffany fan so I'm probably the last person who should comment - my teenage daughter has a very delicate Tiffany necklace that her dad brought her back from New York and I concede that looks super cute on her but, with the exception of the Fendi x Tiffany bag, whenever I see anyone wearing Tiffany I just always assume its fake 🤷‍♀️

If you’re after a bag with a logo on it I’d say YSL all day long. I think the logo’d Gucci bags are so widely copied these days that whenever I see a Marmont or Disco I always assume it’s a fake 🤷🏼‍♀️ I have a Gucci Dionysus which it great as an evening bag. I’ve used it loads and I love that it doesn’t have the Gucci logo on it.

I have my eye on an LV belt, really really want it but I have no other designer clothes/bags etc I hope to add some pieces over time
My question is am I gonna look stupid with an LV belt and a pair of zara jeans
It's not in your face it's a 20mm belt
It won’t look stupid at all. I think there’s so many people who wear all high street clothes mixed with high end accessories. If it has a logo or monogram you won’t need other logos in the outfit anyway. I say go for it!

This isn’t about a designer item but I’d really appreciate some help. My daughter is getting married at the beginning of June next year and I’d like to spend a weekend in London with her before the big day itself. I was hoping to book a luxurious spa treatment for her in one of the London hotels followed by champagne and dinner afterwards etc. but I’m still undecided about which hotel/spa to choose. I’ve looked at the Four Seasons, the Mandarin Oriental, the Corinthian etc. but I can’t decide where to go. Would anyone be able to recommend somewhere please? I would really appreciate any advice you could give me.
Thank you ☺
I don’t really like the MO spa. Four Seasons Trinity Sq is one of my faves, I haven’t been to Corinthia spa but looks very nice popular with influencers though so puts me off #gifted. 45 park lane new spa is gorgeous and they serve you drinks by the pool 😉 Connaught pool area is small but v good for treatments.

Claridges spa is open now looks lush but don’t know anyone who’s been yet.

Saw this today - I think I want it 😵💫

Think DM Luxe was mentioned on an old thread but she just popped up on my timeline and omg this woman has a LOT of stuff. I feel like she has a lot of pieces that were bought simply because they're Hermes/Chanel. She has quite a few Evelyne bags which don't do anything for me at all!
She does have LOADS! I like her, she just doesn’t give a shit. I like how she goes into Hermes in her scruffs without a thought💕
Though I have no idea how she funds it, I know she has a good job but she seems to buy more than sell. Not keen on the Evelyn’s either, she has some nice Chanel’s though.

My Loewe basket bag comes on many a day trip with me 🤣 I absolutely bloody love it so I give thanks to this thread for the enabling of making me want it haha it does go to bed in its dust bag when not in use mind as do my LV key pouches lol

I used my Gucci bags pre selling them everywhere. They'd come on nights out and all sorts plus I wear my jewellery everyday. Yes it will get scratched but why own it to keep it in a box/cupboard.

Bloody basket bags being all pretty and cute. Luring us in 🤣
I keep looking at the Loewe Anagram (largely down to this thread!) and wondering if I can bring myself to spend £600 on a straw bag 😭 I've had my summer holiday for this year but I might get one in the winter, perhaps try and pick up pre-loved when less people are looking to buy.

I think that’s a lovely idea. The Tiffany heart bead bracelet is timeless! Which colour heart are you thinking? And it’s a gorgeous present for a teenager! You’ve a lucky niece!
I was thinking either the plain silver or the Tiffany blue! I think the pink is cute but she's not a pink kinda girl.
I also have the Tiffany bead bracelet and had my first one for years until I caught it on my washing machine and it broke 🥺 I replaced it with the rose gold heart a couple of years ago and love it just the same. It’s just really wearable and I feel naked without it. She will love it, you’re a great Aunty! X
Thanks! Gosh, you're all making me want to buy one for myself. Maybe I can match with her 😂

Appreciate the comments and views- thanks all, food for thought.

My bags are variations on the old school Motorcycle as I’m an old bitch and I love that style. I don’t like the stuff from the last 5 years or so, too Sallie Axl for me.

Great purchases 😍 I have the alma BB in DE and I legit use it every day. It is small but fits a surprisingly good amount in it.
Thank you! I’m brand new to designer bags, and really enjoying the experience 😊

I tried the Alma BB DE on the in the store and it just looked so good! Especially as I’m quite short myself. I’ve not stopped thinking about it. I’ve watched a lot of YouTube videos of different ladies showing what they can fit into their Alma BBs, so that’s been very useful. If I do end up getting it, I will also get the matching DE zippy coin. Seems like a good size wallet to go in there.

I put up the boxes / dust bags for my wedding shoes for sale this morning and they’ve gone already 🤣 £30 someone’s offered 🤷🏽‍♀️. just on the discussion of selling on boxes last thread.

i sold a few a few years ago, the woman was selling lots of her bits and she said she can get a few hundred more if she has the boxes / dust bags. I was moving home from australia so was getting rid of them all anyway so was actually a win for both of us.

There’s a woman working in the Jimmy Choo but in the Dublin one she’s the worst. Completely ignored me and when I asked for my size asked if I was “buying today” 😂😂😂😂 I swear i wasn’t dressed like a tramp.
On the other hand; the young tall boy with a north side accent who works in Gucci is one of the best SAs I’ve ever come across.
My SIL told me once how uncomfortable some SA's made her feel in London (can't remember which store she went into) but she just wanted to have a look. I told her to not let them make her feel "less than". They only work there. They can't afford what they're selling
