Fashionistas, not strictly designer but I need your help to find a pair ballet flats that don’t destroy my feet! I have a pair from French Sole, I think they’re the Henrietta style and my god, they rip my feet to shreds. I’ve worn them 4 times now and each time end up with my heels red raw and rubbing around the vamp from the ribbon edging on them - finally accepted that I’m gonna have to sell them and find another pair. Ideally I’d like a pair of Repettos but I can’t bring myself to spend over £200 on ballet flats (This rationale makes no sense as I have plenty of pairs of shoes that cost much more than that but the price of them seems excessive )

Anyway does anyone have any recommendations please? Or for any simple black slip on flats?

Do it, seriously, I have a mini flap with handle and it’s my favourite bag by farrrrr. I actually want another mini flap now or a wallet on chain in caviar 🥹

I'd love one with an actual handle. I'm so picky with things whether its £1 or £1000. I've been keeping an eye for awhile but I just love the new season black, no handle though

Has anyone noticed any Marc jacob totes on tk maxx recently? I got one due to someone posting it on here but now my friends trying to get one but hasn’t had any luck

It may have been me as I was looking for both a tote and a snapshot last summer. Tk maxx drop their new items in the early hours, usually appear around 1am. They have had more MJ in recent months so I’d check every morning if possible, I noticed they’d be gone by 10am so you need to be fast. I actually got my tote from Very, it randomly had £70 off during the night so worth looking there too. I don’t get so much time to browse/spend now my baby isn’t so little

So weird - literally just combed through and couldn't find it. It was an Orchid/Mauve Constance - I'll have a dig but the stitching was super sloppy

Speaking of sunglasses, has anyone ordered from Pretavoir? I gather they’re really an online optician, but you can order sunglasses with normal non prescription lenses… it’s the only place I can find a Chanel pair I wish I bought last year, but not sure how they’d turn out lens wise, and also they’re much cheaper than normal retail, so I’m suspicious….

I’ve had both prescription sunglasses and glasses from there. No issues at all.

Does anyone know if Goyard handbags are sold in Dublin? I don't see a boutique listed on the Goyard website (I'm surprised they even have a website ) and I know the Brown Thomas website doesn't list every brand they stock.

I’’ not sure if Goyard has a store in Dublin but Goyard only sell from Goyard stores. They do offer ‘distance selling’ though, their version of online shopping.

I start back to uni in sept and would love a backpack type bag that could fit my laptop, can anyone advise on any nice bags?

Does she have much of a commute? If she’s getting a train or has a long journey and carrying lots I would say a backpack would be best. If it’s a slightly shorter and more relaxed journey, go for a tote bag.

Really showing my lack of designer knowledge here but does anyone know why this is a lot more affordable than other YSL clutches? I thought it was going to be more wallet sized but it actually looks like a decent size for a night out. Seems to be big enough to fit an iPhone, card holder and keys. I’m a bit suspicious that it seems too good to be true

On the subject of Tiffany's again does your silver necklaces/bracelets say AG925 or Ag925? I'm looking at some preloved necklaces for myself and wondering if this gives anything away in terms of authenticity.

for my english ladies who have made purchases from french designer brands such as Chanel, ysl and Louis Vuitton in Europe. Is it cheaper than the U.K. (bearing in mind the currency exchange rate)?
I want the goyard gm and a Louis Vuitton bag and will have a mini weekend away in Paris in December so might hold of until then if I can save abit on price.

Yeh it’s cheaper in Paris than UK. I realised though that I didn’t ever get my tax refund on some higher value items but even without that things are typically a few hundred pounds cheaper.
