Use them. I’m so over this whole woke crap. Of course it’s horrible and reprehensible but are 90% of our clothes and designer stuff not made in sweat shops as it is. Picking and choosing who to cancel to suit someone’s narrative is ridiculous. I don’t agree with this ridiculous cancel culture either but I do agree with Balenciaga feeling the full repercussions of what they’ve done. The original idea is abhorrent enough but to then try and wriggle out of it by saying it’s the photographers fault makes me really angry. They tried to be provocative, MASSIVELY misjudged it and now won’t own it - they deserve all the fury and criticism they are receiving.
I’ll still use my balenciaga bags if I want to, they’re practically vintage now anyway lol but I won’t be buying anything new. There’s nothing I’ve felt compelled to buy in recent years anyway I had the speed trainers which were super comfy but otherwise it’s not really my fit style wise at the moment.

I would say Chanel (Caviar obvs), YSL, Celine or if you're partial to a pattern, Goyard. I'd go something understated with subtle branding. I don't own any Hermes but I'd look at what's on offer there too.I'm gonna keep using my balenciaga bag cause it's one of my favourites and I spent my hard earned cash on it tf. No, I am not wearing my balenciaga anymore, not a hope in hell. I only have two pairs of trainers and didn’t wear them much anyway. It’s not even just the photoshoot for me, it’s the other bits ie the legal docs and the barrowman (sp) books. It made me feel sick when I saw it all together.
I know they already have the money etc but their stuff is always logo’d or identifiable and I’m not walking around with something that has their name on.

I don't own any balenciaga, however if I did i think I'd feel comfortable using a city bag, anything pre demna, or stuff with no branding. I think unfortunately this will all blow over, children have been exploited by the fashion industry for decades with underage models in suggestive posters, e.g. Calvin Klein Brooke Shields
